We stayed at Landhotel Fuchs with our medium sized dog and felt welcomed very warmly immediately upon arrival. The rooms are generously sized and the beds are very comfy. Some parts of the hotel are still in the process of being renovated, but this only adds to the design mix of modern and rustic and works well for the Hotel. Breakfast was included and very good, including delicious self made bread, fresh fruit and we could even request vegan milk, cheese, spreads and yogurt! We also had dinner in the hotel restaurant, which again was amazing and included vegan options. Seats are available at the terrace or inside. Especially great was that our dog was able to accompany us to breakfast and dinner on the terrace. In the room where the breakfast buffet is offered, dogs aren't allowed for hygiene reasons which we found sensible as well. Location is great as well and offers access to a variety of hikes and activities around the Hochschwarzwald, with parking being available right in front of the hotel. The owners are happy to share recommendations! All in all we had an amazing stay, especially thanks to the owner family and would absolutely stay again.

We love at all !! A truly atmospheric guesthouse, boasting breathtaking views of nature. Impeccably clean rooms that exude a brand-new feel from floors to furnishings. The beds were comfortable, and our family of four settled in with ease. Daily cleaning was exceptional. The breakfasts were not only delicious but also served with panoramic views of meadows and forests. The hosts , Max and Christoph, created a unique ambiance where guests freely mingled and engaged in evening conversations, adding to the enchanting atmosphere of the place! Really classic Gastaus. The restaurant served typical a Black Forest menu.People come from all over to go to the restaurant even tho it's not in Neustadt. Breakfast was served on the balcony & was delicious. A complete German breakfast. Our room was large & comfortable with a small balcony. Bed huge with comforters.

The restaurant on the bottom floor was so convenient and the food was very good. The provided breakfast had nice options, including fresh scrambled eggs. The is an alternate entrance on the back of the building to get to the rooms and bypass the restaurant. We had a family room. Entering the door from the hall you can see the main bed, closet, desk with mini fridge. The main bathroom had plenty of room and was clean. From the main door, turning right is the bedroom door for the kids room. It had a bunk bed, some closet, and half bath. There was enough room for us to set up a pack n play for our infant as well. The staff were all very attentive and treated us like family. From interacting with our young kids, recommending local attractions and activities, and genuinely having a conversation. The hospitality alone would make me want to return.
