We were walking in the area; thus, we only saw a small area of Eching. Factories. If you have any trouble forget to get any help from the owner/manager. Call the number listed at the front instead. If you are staying in the backside of the hotel for a weekday plan on an early wake-up. There is a factor this close (attached photo) that has workers with forklifts, etc., at 6:30 AM!

Eching was great because we were there for an event in eching at the Bürgerhaus. If you are going for a trip to Munich, it is a bit out of the way, but you will enjoy the spaciousness of the area and being close to the airport.

Great restaurants, close to Dachau and only 9 miles from Munich. Close to airport. Should have stayed here for all nights in Munich, but wasn’t aware of it until our final night! Proximity to town and airport are perfect! Plus walking to restaurants and shopping!
We stayed in the apartment building - three people, one bedroom and a livingroom with an extended sofa. Everything went as expected, without any fuss (as it happened in the previous visit here). The staff is helpful and welcoming. Breakfast is really good value - rich and varied. It is nice that there are enough parking spots now, both outside and in the basement. The local transportation (S-Bahn) to the München center is only 10min walk away - you can also find a local supermarket en-route.
This hotel offers simple accommodation perfect for an overnight stay. Amenities like breakfast or a fridge in your room are not offered, which helps keep the cost very affordable. The room was very clean and modern, with a great TV. The bed was comfortable and everything seemed new or well-maintained. It is a quick bus ride to the train station and then a quick train to the airport. Communication with the staff (who were off-site due to COVID) was very easy and they responded quickly.
Simona & Ivana were courteous and helpful, going the extra mile to deliver a kettle when we requested for some hot water. The hotel location is great, 10mins by car from Munich airport, 20 min drive to Munich city centre, Lidl supermarket and dm pharmacy is just across the road, shell petrol station just next door. Queen bed was very comfortable, surprisingly not split in the middle unlike other German hotels, but pillow too flat (seems to be the usual standard in the country).
The hotel is conveniently located within 15min drive from the airport. Although it is not in the center of the town, there are plenty of shops nearby and the center is within a walking distance where you can find different restaurants. The hotel is new with fresh and modern rooms. There is a big screen with cable TV and even a small pad for you to browse the web. I would recommend staying there if you need a good rest before your flight or you are on the move to other place.
Excellent value. Clean rooms, check in was easy, the bus stop right outside takes you to the Neufarhn train station (S1 line) in just a few minutes, which will then get you to Munich in 30 minutes. You can walk to the train station but its a bit far, about a mile. Download the train app (Munchen Navigator) which gives you accurate bus/train times and lets you buy tickets.
The quiet town of Eching, though an hour's ride away from the Thereisenweise, was lovely. Long walks in the are were very nice after all the excesses at the Oktoberfest! The property provided whatever they advertised and the breakfast spread was excellent.

Wanted an inexpensive place to stay near the airport that was near a train stop. 9 euro train ticket to get there and 45 euro taxi to get back to the airport. Local bus runs from train station to right in front of the hotel, otherwise about a 1 mile walk which isn't bad.
I stayed one night and it was great, it took me 10 mins from the airport to reach the hotel by a car, the apartment was spacious and the staff were helpful and provided what we ordered with no hesitate, and the breakfast was awesome as well

Eching, where the Olymp is, is farm life on the edge of the big city with all the comforts of a great small town
Gr8 rooms, quiet, , very clean, coffee machine is in the room. Restaurant is just downstairs, in case you want to eat or drink.
Very friendly people working in Hotel restaurant reception, could be improved a little more.
Clean, close to Munich airport, so great location if you land late and need a place to sleep. Helpful staff. Great breakfast! We arrived at nightime and left the next morning so didn't experience alot in the hotel.
