The fact that it was an entire apartment in a lovely little town.
There was refreshments (and even beer!) in the fridge for us to enjoy, it was clean, a great location (not far from the Nürburgring) and had it's own private parking.

The manager was very friendly and helpful. He opened a separate function room and helped me put my bike and trailer into it. He also spoke very good English and was able to advise on the best bike route to Koblenz, also on the impact of the floods. Breakfast and dinner were excellent.
