very welcoming owner; superb breakfast with many high quality options
This hotel is located centrally in the spa town of Bad Buchau, just a 5-minute walk from the thermal spa and the marketplace. It features an Greek restaurant and a sunny terrace.
The breakfast just okay, there not to many options. The location is quite central. The staff is very nice. The have free parking place. It’s not a Hotel for comfort or a like, it’s more for people from outside the country who work there and a need some place for sleep after work or so. It’s functional place.
It is more of a small older countryside pension than hotel. It offers the use of a small kitchen to guests as well as an outdoor seating area. Location and place is suitable for people staying there longer to visit the local Moor spa or tour the countryside.
We were delayed three hours for our arrival. Called the hotel and they said no problem. They had our key ready in a dropbox when we arrive late that night.
One of the maids helped us get our bags down the next day. Just great service.
A fabulous place to stay above Bad Buchau market place. Very well appointed and extremely comfortable. Very friendly welcome from the Schneiders. Only a short walk to the Federsee. One of the best places we have stayed in.
