we really enjoyed our stay here on the Romantic Road. it’s a classic German Inn beautifully decorated, clean, spotless and airy. the host was really charming and friendly and made us most welcome, with our limited language skills she helped us through the menu and the meals were just exceptional. they clearly use good quality ingredients and all is cooked fresh, we could even hear it being prepared. our room was spotless and had everything we needed for an overnight stop. breakfast was just amazing, everything was laid out for us with meats cheese cereal eggs breakfast jams etc, just perfect. we chose this place to avoid the crazy prices of Rothenburg and it’s far more peaceful after the crowds and we will certainly use this hotel in future on our trips there.

We were lucky to book one of two rooms on the top floor of this lovely hotel in the walls of the medieval walled town. The room was comfortable and well-equipped with modern fixtures and charming furnishings. The breakfast was delicious and service from check-in to check-out was great!
