Very clean and nice room, quiet hotel with a polite and accommodating staff. I stayed here for a week and really enjoyed my stay at Valcha.
There is a tram line right in front which makes it convenient to get to the town very quickly. I skipped the hotel breakfast opting for a lovely breakfast and lunch cafe at just across the street.

To begin with was the welcome on entering the hotel. The breakfast was excellent. The room was comfortable, clean and the facilities were very good, e.g., making tea, coffee. The location of the hotel is good as one can even walk to the city centre.

Breakfast was good and had a good variety of things. The room had a good quality hair-dryer which was a plus. It also had a bottle of water refilled every day. Check-in and check-out was quick and easy, although it was surprising that there was no personnel on the grounds for days other than the person refilling breakfast - but it worked.
Might not be the best area for general sightseeing as it is residential and a bit further out (but it felt like a nice, safe neighbourhood nonetheless).
The romantic Monastery Hotel in the peaceful garden of the Strahov Monastery offers superb views of Prague Castle, Lesser Town, the Old Town and the Vltava river.
