Wonderfull city with a great atmosphere and beautiful architecture. Not crowded to much - you can enjoy it in peace. A lot of nice restaurants and bars. Great for 1 or 2 night stay. Nice alternative for Prague etc. especially if you don't like crowds.

Very beautiful old town, lots of fountains, beautiful architecture, few tourists, peace and tranquility. Of course, there are three iconic places: St. Wenceslas Cathedral, Upper and Lower Squares. But just to walk along the local streets, sit in a cafe with a view of the beautiful buildings - this city, the "Second Prague", is definitely worth a visit, you will definitely not regret it. Perhaps this is one of the most beautiful cities in the Czech Republic.

I loved the fact that I had a white christmas😊. It was snowing! The town is beautiful and historic. We visited the Holy Trinity Colomn, the Astronomical Clock, the Arcidiecézni Muzeum and St Wenceslas Cathedral which was all a walking distance from each other and from the hotel.

Lovely city centre with numerous historic buildings and sites. The many different kinds of cobblestones require good footware and do not always provide a safe footing, especially after rain. Be sure to visit as many of the different bakeries and confectioneries as you can and walk off the calories in the surrounding woods and moderate mountains. Also, you will be surprised how many varieties of pickled vegetables can make a tasty add-on any traditional Czech food. As everywhere in Czechia, local beers are manifold and definitely worth a try or five.

Olomouc is my favorite place in the entire world!
Olomouc is my favorite place in the entire world! I lived there for a year and now travel back and forth for work. It is safe, clean and has wonderful public transportation. There are countless restaurants and cafes. Most everyone is friendly. There are bikes to rent, parks to enjoy, nice shopping and historical attractions. I cannot wait to go back! They have great theater and a wonderful train station on an international line. It's just a two hour, enjoyable ride from Prague. Watching football at the stadium is always fun too! Olomouc is the best!
Do not stay at Silvie Properties. They do a "bait and switch" scam! You pay for an upgrade and do not receive the quality you pay for, for example, we needed two bedrooms and a washing machine and our apartment rental had neither. Booking.com was very disappointing to deal with refunding us a measly 50EURO for our frustration and inconvenience. They could not get her to respond to them either!
The facility is very new, clean and in great location - close to the train station, not far from city center. The room was clean with very comfortable bed, nice and clean bathroom and very nice terrace (we were located on the 3rd floor). As we stayed for just 1 night, we did not miss that there is no hotel bar/restaurant available in the building, or a mini bar at the room. There is one vending machine available at the ground floor where we could purchase water, coffee and snacks - sufficient for short stay.
I love the design of the rooms. I stayed in room lilac (all rooms are named after some flowers / plants and show design relating to their name). The room was beautiful and it even smelled of lilac. Location is also great – very close to the city, but in a silent area of Olomouc. In front of the hotel is a very beuatiful garden. As I was travelling in atumn the autumn leaves were very nice and colorful. Adding that everything was exceptionally clean and the staff very friendly.
Olomouc pleasantly surprised us - a beautiful Czech town, but we were even more surprised by Lucy's Apartment. Spacious, modern, clean and well-equipped accomodation. Great location near the cathedral and the historic center. Very good contact with the owner, and the welcome gift in the form of a bottle of wine, lemonade and chips was a great start to a very successful stay.
Overall we had a wonderful time staying in the Theresian Hotel. The best feature for us was large rooms with enough place to do something apart from sleeping. The spa center is a bit on the negative side for us. However, it is nice to have something to do in the evening in the small and quiet town. We can definitely recommend this place for your stay in Olomouc.
I liked the environment they made there. As far as comfort is concerned, it is absolutely unique in Olomouc! There is nothing better. Beautifully done with a luxury restaurant which has a connected entrance right next door, so you don't have to walk outside, but you go directly from the room to the restaurant nice and warm.
The hotel is nice, clean and comfortable. It's a 10-minute drive from everything in Olomouc, which makes it really convenient. The room was very big.
After a few days that we were there, one of the employees called us on the phone to ask if everything was all right and if we needed anything. We really appreciated it.
The breakfast was great
I had two fried eggs, three big local sausages, a chunk of Olomouc'S aromatic cheese, mustard, kraut, a slice of rhubarb pie, and more. My wife had a cheese and spinach omelet, etc.
The hostess provided warm hospitality and helpful suggestions.
Location is In middle of nowhere - Industrial park - but no nuisance, but do not expect or easy access with public transport or by walk. Do not expect picturesque location around - but for business trip - super - hotel is located in a big gym - you can train your body
Really amazing hotel. Both the room and the bed were very comfortable. The "smart" set-up is very efficient, and the prices of food and drinks in the kitchen were low for the hotel. And the personnel is extremely kind.
