Náchod is a lower Silesian border town, which boasts an architectural gem apart from the Renaissance castle: the coffeehouse/restaurant/ town theatre from 1914. Completely original in late Jugendstil with exquisitely designed lamps. Náchod is close to Ceská Skalice with the Bozena Nemcova museum and the beautiful valley where this famous writer lived and which scenery is described in her famous Czech novel. Also the north-east area of Hronov is splendid. Náchod is the home of the Primator beer brewery which is known for its wide array of lager beers, some of them having a very high alcohol percentage. But the taste is really special.
Extremely helpful owner who was always available if we needed anything. Spacious, well laid out apartment with plenty equipment for cooking and a wonderfully comfortable bed. Great shower and a separate bath too. Good wee cafe/bar underneath which was a boon as we stayed during the September floods, so getting out and about wasn't recommended. Located in the middle of a stunning square in the lovely town of Nachod.
Very friendly staff, the hotel seems to be passion for the owner and staff. We arrived on motorbikes and they let us park in a garage, which is just perfect. We felt welcome. The hotel is not a super modern or freshly renovated, but is reasonable value for money. The location is good, although there are downsides to it. I would definitely return if I get back to Náchod.
I was very impressed with the friendly staff at reception and the availability of booking the pool etc.My partner and i also enjoyed the space in the breakfast room and the bar area. The hotel was super clean and we have already told our friends about it.
Amazing place! Decor of downstairs/restaurant is wonderful. Whole place feels cozy and welcoming. One of the best meals I ever had in my life! So highly recommend a rabbit with home made gnocchi. Friendly staff. Short walk to beautiful Nachod castle.
