Breakfast was very teasty. Number of choices was more then enough. Coffee was superb. Timing of the breakfast was also good. No one rushed us to finnish. You could take coffee ans sweets/cake ot your room, which was fantastic.
Room was nice and cozy. Bathroom was large enough, shower was of normal size, you can easilly get in and out. Both room and bathroom was clean.
Staff is super friendly. They will assist you if needed.
Hotel did not have any problem with us bringing our cat.

I had a four days stay in Batlém Penzion and it became a really great memory! The Penzion is really near to the beginners ski pist like 15 minutes by walk! Other pists are easy to access with skibus just five minutes from the penzion! The nature around is really gorgeous and there is a spa center with pool just 200 m far from the penzion! Before all these qualities, stands the owner of the Penzion, Robert! He is such a great host, very friendly, kind, guest friendly and it gives you this feeling that you know him for a long time! I felt in family there! He sat the fire in his gorgeous fireplace and we had a great time chatting with him and other guest! I will go back there absolutely! I recommend Betlém for all seasons! There is also a cute dry sauna there for relaxing after your hiking or skiing! The access from either Prague or Trutnov( the small city near Janske Lazne) is easily possible with the public transportation!

The weather wasn't very kind to us, but the availability of a sauna brightened up our stay. As a result, we were ready for another good walk the next day.

Janske Lazne is a ski resort which is not very suitable for beginners, in the sense that there are relatively few blue slopes. They do have beginner area's, but they are not in the main area, 5 minutes by bus away from the Gondola. The Gondola only takes 7 minutes and you have a nice 10-15 minute downhill (skiing average). Friendly people and good restaurants on the slopes. The number of restaurants in the village itself is limited. But overall a good and cheaper option than the Alps.

Janské Lásně seems to be ok for skiing trips as you have a variety of possibility for skiing (Cerna Hora, Ped pod Snezkou, Mala Upa) - at least reachable by ski bus. We were there for hiking in winter time, so we cannot judge the ski conditions. There is no shopping possibilities in the location but 1 Intersport, the party mood on Silvester was quite small.
Great location- walking distance from the bus stop and from the ski lift.
Never actually needed the reception aside from check-in/out, so the fact that it is in the nearby hotel and 24/7 is no problem.
Great zoned out breakfast hall, nice selection of food. I don't think I saw brie cheese as at breakfast in any other hotel.
A direct lift to the aqua center and fitness center.

Not so good choice of drinks in the restaurant bar. Pilsner beer (usually my favorite) not good here. Minimum wines. No coffee machine for breakfast, only a hot water, instant coffee and tea bags.

Family run business with personal touch, our room was very spacious and quiet so we slept like logs. The baby cot was new and overall this place is super clean. Contrary to the description there was a free parking space near the main entrance! The hotel is not new but it is old school in a nice, nostalgic way, not shabby. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
Martin and his staff are super friendly and helpful. We could rent skis in the hotel, he helped us with all our questions and had no problem with us leaving the car in the parking lot for a bit longer.
Breakfasts were good, but not great for vegetarians. The hotel is old, but very clean. The skibus is a great addition!
Great location, close to skibus and lifts. You can ski down almost to the property (50-100m), or directly to the doors, if you have old enough skis that are not afraid of some asphalt ;)

Nicely located hotel, very cozy, everything is reachable easily in Janske Lazne from it. Quite big rooms, good furniture. Heating is working super. Handy kitchen with appliances. Responsive and hospitable personal. Very tasty breakfasts. Free parking. Can only recommend.
We liked the room - spacious, clean. The staff is friendly and polite; the restaurant in the hotel is delicious. The other thing that we liked is that you can charge everything on your room and pay at the end of the stay.
The hotel is new, modern and clean. Our son had a regular bed which was very good, The size of the room was good, it was comfortable for 3 people.

Nice apartment in the center of Janske Lazne. Compact but well equiped. Be aware that there are almost no breakfast options in the village. So prepare one yourself or be lucky that Bistro La Petit is open.
