Everything. This is exactly what all hotels should aspire to - probably our favourite hotel in the world. Staff are all perfect - helpful but not over bearing - hard when not talking your first language, the rooms are classy without being pretentious, the food and beer are top rate.
We first stayed here 'by accident' in 2006 and needed to come back to confirm what we thought then. Oh - and the town is pretty good as well.
We enjoyed our weekend stay at the hotel - a nice historic property tastefully reconstructed not only to provide its guests with comfort, excellent food but also caring for genius loci. The location is great - at the well-kept historic centre, which is alive (not an open-air museum). In a walking distance, there are a museum, gallery, a nature park with a cascade of lakes, playgrounds for children etc.
The most central hotel in Havlíčkův Brod, siting just on top of the main square. The house is from 16th century and you can indeed feel a touch of history there. The personnel was helpful, breakfast very good and price reasonable. The room was perfectly clean and silent.
The staff was nice and friendly, the hotel comfortable, and room spacious with nice touches to make you feel welcome. I had a room with a bath tub, was great to soak in for a while before bed time!
