The spa
The fact we traveled from Ireland for new years celebrations and the hotel closed all facilities on new years at 8pm and did not reopen until we had left. This meant we were left trying to find a supermarket or restaurant in the area to get some food. An utter disgrace.

All in all, we really liked the hotel. The location not far from the center and yet a bit on the edge, so very quiet. Parking was free in a secured location. The staff spoke good English, were very friendly and helpful. The room had a beautiful view of the forest and the tennis court. Nothing was missing from the room facilities. The beds were very comfortable and we slept well. The breakfast was varied and very tasty. We want to come back.
It's a lovely, quiet hotel in a very peaceful location. Nice view of the hill and trees from the balcony. Absolutely no light pollution at night so the view of the night sky from the balcony is fantastic.
Food in the restaurant in the evening is wonderful and it was difficult to choose from the menu because all the choices look good.
It fully deserves the 4* stars!
Everything is perfect! I am gusst of this hotel for almost 20 years and it is impressive how the management developed it from an worn out tourist hostel dated to a high standard western 4* hotel.
Very good restaurant for dinner and breakfast
Cozy and clean room in the attic, comfortable bed, friendly lady at the reception who allowed us to keep some of our stuff there after checkout as we went out. The hotel is located in the centre of the town of Frenštát, few minutes by walk to both train and bus station.
