Willemstad is a quaint, beautiful place. I love the people of Curacao. The food is very good. Many of the restaurants have incredible views. There is plenty of music and dance. The multicultural, warm atmosphere in Curacao is unique. I treasure my time there and wish I had more.
The one weak point of Curacao is the shopping. If you are a shopoholic, spend the week in Manhattan.

I like walking around the city on both sides of the bridge. It is funny how the stores do not really follow an opening/closure schedule so if you might like doing some shopping you should forget about the beach day and walk around the nice stores. There is a nice and new art gallery called Bagira Artist and Gallery, the artist is an open heart person and her job is superb! She allowed me to visit the installations during a time that everything was closed.

For the price that was charged I expected way more.
For the price that was charged I expected way more. For instance they don't have any parking on site. Very often the closest on-street parking I could find was a long walk away and this was very frustrating. The room we stayed in was shown as ocean view but it was kind of a side view. Again, this would have been fine for much lower cost but at about USD 350 a night I expected at least parking at the facility (even if it meant paying some more). Also charging for Coffee pods was silly, keep in mind I was paying USD 1350 for the stay and they wanted to add 5 more bucks for the coffee pods!
Outside of the above, rest was fine. One of the staff was very helpful. Place was very clean and the the full property was well maintained. The main tourist area is about a 15 minute walk so the location is not bad.

I have been to Curacao twice, and still have not been to Mambo Beach. Otherwise the downtown area is a must for a visit. The point in bridge at night lights up, you have the Curacao sign, the Dushi sign and the iguana. All around just a beautuful island with beautiful people.
Curaçao Gardens is a beautiful place, the houses are very pretty, traditional and well maintained. Our apartment had everything we needed for a couple of nights. The kitchen had everything we needed. Was nice to have a comfortable table to eat and also to have an other one outdoor. The hotel is just as they describe, the perfect place to stay in Otra Banda in a traditional colorful house very well located at a walking distance from touristic places like Emma Bridge, Kura Hulanda Village, Punda and many others. We loved this cozy place.
it was a beautiful apartment at an excellent location 5 minutes walk from blue bay beach. You could see it was new and in perfect condition with all the things you need. Furthermore, Ravi was the perfect host, easily reachable, good tips for restaurants and places to visit and welcoming us with a nice drink. Also Carlos made sure the property was always in good condition and the garden and pool are well taken care of!
If you want to have the perfect stay in curaçao, make sure to book Xanadu and you will not be disappointed!
If like me you hate trashy resorts and prissy boutique hotels, Bed & Bike Jan Thiel is probably your best bet in Curacao. Located in an upscale residential neighborhood, it has the advantage of not being stranded amid the desolation of derelict downtown Willemstad. The swimming pool is great. You can cook your own meals in the communal outdoor kitchen or have a bite at the bar (the menu is always the same, but at least it's there). The colorful buildings can be seen from a distance and it really felt cozy. They have Netflix.
Curaçao is not a cheap island, so this place is a great option if you are a solo traveler looking for a private accommodation on a limited budget.
It’s well located and it has all the basic amenities you might need. The area and the whole resort was very quiet, good for spending a few days away from the city noise.
The pool area is great to relax after a day exploring the island and there are common areas to cook, eat and work.
You can get to and from the airport with the public bus (only 1 €) and a short walk.
We had an excellent stay at B&B Toni Kunchi. We stayed for 6 nights and we immediately felt at home. The location is very quiet and safe. The room was nice, airco working perfectly, good beds and with a fridge to store some food. We also liked the swimming pool and the rooftop/veranda where we spent quite some time. And a special thanks to Simône who took very well care of us with a varied breakfast each day, a smile, and some useful tips for things to do in Curacao. Absolutely recommendable!
The location of the hotel was great. Just a short walk between the magnificent colonial style houses and you are already in the heart of the city. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Our deep thanks. Breakfast is just enough to start the day. All our wishes were resolved, and that was remarkable. The atmosphere was friendly, attentive, homely and supportive. When ever I can go to Curacao I always choose Villa Amalie.
Everything perfect! If you want a beautiful space after long beach days, clean, comfortable and cozy, this is the place! Ralf and his family have this perfect space and hidden gem in a very gut location near to the best spots in Curaçao. Bathroom and shower amazing! Bed and Kitchen ideal…. 2nd time staying at The Lilu. Enjoyed my stay both time. The cleanliness of the apartment inside and outside. Staffs always friendly. Apartment is in a prime location with easy access to just about everything. Apartment is gated, a police station nearby; needless to say, I felt safe during my stay. Wonderful place to lodge. Definitely check this place if visiting Curacao.

The bed was the comfiest we had in our time in Curacao, and the location of the hotel is great.
Breakfast on the balcony looking over the sea was also incredible, and the complimentary snacks and drinks were also a really really nice touch.

If one has a car, the property is minutes away from Willemstad, Otrobanda side of the harbor where one can park at the Renaissance and walk nearly anywhere, crossing the pedestrian bridge over to Punda and Pietermaai. Fine restaurants to choose from and the town seems safe. Hotel is good but not outstanding. See below.
The property is located in a really good position, near the center, and basically gives access to everything you need. The staff was super accomodating and assisted us with everything we needed. Is definitely not a 5-star hotel but the price is definitely good when compared to the rest of the hotels in Curacao.
We had a wonderful time on Curacao. The host was so wonderful! Whenever we had a question she was there for us directly. She helped us with everything. The house was big enough for our big family and we needed very short time to arrive different beaches an the main city of Curacao.

Its a really stylish and clean hotel. I stayed there twice at the begining and the end of my time in Curaçao. The rooms are nice and big. The bathrooms clean. The area is safe and perfect to discover Willemstad by foot.
Good location, close to supermarket. But you have to rent a car to go to a restaurant and beach. Big parking space is also include in price. Friendly staff. Definitely one of the best cheap hotel on Curacao.
