Wiji was exactly what we were looking for in a small week getaway. Clean, calm, good wifi, 15 min walk from the main town, pool, comfortable houses and some beautiful wild beaches. On top of that, it is run by Juan Camilo who is super friendly and resourceful. He helped us arrive to the island (in low season) and had a contact for anything we wanted to do there. Would love to come back

Good value for money, clean and comfortable. Loved the rooftop with a nice view on the big tree nearby and the hammocks to chill. Mosquito net in the room. Staff was really nice too.

Nice island, no mass tourisme.
However there is dirty everywhere, there is no environmental respect or educaiton around the locals and some tourists. Pieces of garbage all over when going for a walk in the island.
A fully respectful hotel I recommend : Ecohouse ! The worst one in terms of service : WIJI, don't go there, over expensive and the rudest staff and worst service I've ever had.

Wonderful island to hike around on, but the beaches are't...
Wonderful island to hike around on, but the beaches are't the type to lay on all day, not very long beaches, but gorgeous sunsets! Places to sit on the beaches, peaceful, hardly any people but a shack is there to grab a cold beer ;) Only a few places to stay, but really a nice get away for those looking to detach. I will say though, its a hike to get there. AND THERE IS NO ATM ON THE ISLAND. fyi
