There was even the option for a laundry service for a fair price. They even repared a hole in my shirt, even tho I didnt ask for. That was so kind, I really appreciated it!
Necocli is a small, seaside town popular with Colombians.
Necocli is a small, seaside town popular with Colombians. It also has the ferry to get to Capurgana. The beaches are a little small and sometimes dirty. The town is lively but very noisy. As is the Colombian was bar, restaurant and shop owners think the best way to entice custom into their establishment is to play music VERY loudly. Beware and also it would be my advice not to stay in a hotel near the town centre because of this reason.

Lively carribean town with a relaxed atmosphere.
Lively carribean town with a relaxed atmosphere. I stayed only one night to wait for the boat to Capurganá leaving early in the morning but I would definitely recommend to stay at least one more night to enjoy good and cheap food (fish, seafood) in local restaurants, to dance in one of the many bars by the sea or just stroll along the sea and chill at the beach.

Necoclí is way more than a pit-stop for travelers going north (Capurganá, Sapzurro). We found out on the run that we needed to come back for more... and so we did. A little change on our itinerary that added some quiet time and culture, out of the touristic circuit.
