Great stay at the hotel. They have an excellent work area with wifi, charging ports, individual tables and an open conference room. The staff was excellent and helpful. The breakfast was OK, as expected. It was clean and comfortable.

Great mid-size city with pleanty of restaurants, shopping and 2 excellent malls. It is known as the cattle capitol of Colombia and on the outskirts, there are a lot of "fincas" with hundreds of head of cattle.

Monteria is a typical northern town in Colombia.
Monteria is a typical northern town in Colombia. Hot and Hot and Hot! It cools nicely in the evening. They call the people who live here Costenos. People of the coast. The city has everything one needs to live a modern life without the hubbub of a big city. No real traffic to speak of, low crime rate and plenty of shopping. Monteria is mostly an agricultural town, lots of cows. There are no real tourist attractions unless you want to see the giant muddy Sinu river. They have an annual Ag Show, Feria. I have never attended. Monteria is how real Colombians in the northern Colombia.
If you are traveling along the Pan-American Highway, it passes by Tolu and through Monteria on its way south to Arboletes and further south to Apartado( Routa de Banano), Turbo and eventually Medellin. A truly spectacular ride!

Montería is a nice rural city.
Montería is a nice rural city. The people are great, the countryside is beautiful, and the proximity to the coast is definitely a plus. If you don’t speak much Spanish I’d recommend you practice or have a guide for your trip when traveling here. Traffic is crazy, so if you’re not used to driving in Colombia I’d recommend a taxi or Uber. Just like much of Colombia not many places have central HVAC so prepare for things to be on the warmer side. All in all Montería is a hidden gem for those looking to experience the Costeña culture in Colombia without the large population or many other tourists.
Monteria is a spectacular city, small and has it all, and that hotel is located in one of the best areas of the city very safe and modern, near the Zona Rosa where all the bars and nightclubs of the city's most renowned additional to this is Super close to several shopping centers and chain stores, the value per night is very economical compared to other hotels in the area.
The room is great, specially the bed. I felt like I was sleeping in a beautiful cloud.
The breakfast is good and the location perfect!
That said. The facilities are not that great. The bar terrace does not have a great atmosphere, and the dinning room feels like a 1970s hospital cafeteria.
But it’s worth the money, and by far the best hotel in Monteria.
I took the suit junior. The balcony was what I liked the most, the possibility to go out to take the breeze and observe the busy live of downtown Monteria below made the difference. The fridge was also mostly apressiated to keep your cold water considering the high temperature. Air conditioned was ok and there was also a fan option.
Big clean rooms, nice restaurant , pool area. Attached to the Alamedas mall which made it convenient not having to take taxis anywhere. Best hotel in town in my opinion.
