The beach is ok, pretty but not as beautiful as other Caribbean beaches I've been. However, I liked the fact that I was not harassed by vendors as it often happens in other beaches in Colombia. Also, the beach was not crowded despite the fact that it was at the peak of December holidays, so you have privacy and plenty of beach for ourselves

Covenas was such a great place to visit that I definitely recommend, there's a few places to visit (islands) not far that a tourist should go,just to mention; Tintitan island and Mucura Island.
Round trip on a boat,lunch included to one of the mentioned islands .$80.000 pesos. ( $27.00 US)

The hotel is more for families with kids. The staff and the entire hotel isn't prepared for non Spanish speaking tourists. The bedroom and shower are very simple and need a few updates. AC and fan works.
The staff is friendly, but nobody speaks one world English. The resort has a nice beach and pool area. Breakfast is included. All other meals and drinks are extra to pay. The mojito was very soft. Not a lot of alcohol inside. For 2 days I paid 220k pesos.
It's overpriced for the quality.

The hotel is clean and welcoming!A Big plus is the secured parking on site!We didn’t have to leave the hotel campus since they had a restaurant with local Colombian breakfast and American continental breakfast.
The best part was that the ocean was right in front of the hotel! What a hidden gem if your trying to escape the city and not have the hustle of larger tourist hotels near the beach!
The hotel service is extremely good. Very helpful and caring hotel staff, almost everything is possible! The only minor point was the breakfast in the morning. A hotel in this class should offer a more variation in the buffet; its more like an university canteen where you get your breakfast without having your own choices.
BUT my overall opinion was: excellent!
Fully our favorite to relax and get into holiday vibe !! Amazing staff and wonderful owners, super friendly family vibe.

Beach, pool and bar were great. Rooms were basic but good value for the location and had everything you needed but certainly weren't luxury. Internet worked well and nice poeple at the hotel. Not noisy at night and AC was good. Near everything you need, best to hire a car.

Everything was good, location, staff, facilities. Best thing is that the sea is right in the front of the hotel. Also, place has a restaurant which offers delicious food; I strongly suggest the dish with a variety of seafood (picada marinera).
We arrived early and were allowed to check-in. The location was good, mid-way between Covenas and Tolu. The restaurant and bar were good. The beach and water were excellent.
The place was really nice, beachfront- the beach is really quiet. The personnel is real nice. The hotel is clean and organize. There is a supermarket really near.
