The staff is friendly, give us a lot of advices for the local travel and help to arrange airport transportation. The room is clean and big enough for 3 adults. The location is close to the north gate of the old town and a local market . It’s fun to take a walk at the market in the morning. many restaurants around. There is a bus stop across the street to Xizhou, only 8 yuan per person.

Free laundry on premises and great rooftop terrace. Staff were pretty friendly, though we didn’t interact much. Pretty good location in the ancient town, a bit farther from the touristy main streets, but closer to trendy restaurants and bars. The hostel provided unlimited bottled water and the room was very clean and cute. Pretty good value for a very inexpensive hotel.

General ambiance: A charming setting! Love it! Lots of flowers, a goldfish pond, decorative lobby with tea sets, music instruments, and shelves of books (mostly in Chinese) that the guests can use
Staff: Friendly and very helpful. They are full of advices about sights, restaurants, etc. Just tell them what you like, and they will tell you what DaLi has to offer.

An amazing place to stay - it's like a BnB meets a boutique hotel. Our room was so lovely, with a window seat looking out at the mountains. The rooftop view was even better!
