The staff there is extremely helpful and courteous, especially front desk manager Gloria Chen, few receptionist at the counter remembering only Gao Dan, they helped us to get a driver and guide who brought us to outskirt area like QiPanShan 棋盘山, BenXi 本溪 Water Caves and DanDong 丹东， North Korea Boarder etc which proved to be a memorable trip for us which should not be missed, without their arrangement, our trip will not be smoothed as this way. A gem in the Northern East where the taxi driver told us upon arrival 8 days schedule was too long, at the end, 8 days was proven too short for us.
Shenyang itself has nothing much to offer but the surrounding area has proven to worth a trip by all means, but given the distances in between, each place will take a day or at least half a day, so definitely you need to plan ahead 3-4 days to visit the surrounding area, and in Shenyang the city itself, must check the shopping malls and endless restaurants, the food is so good, yet so cheap.

We lived for ten years in Shenyang and have many fond memories of the city. and places to visit.There Metro System is best but always crowded and can never get a seat.

Pleasant and nice city. We found that the people weren’t as friendly and helpful as other Chinese cities we have visited like Xian, Nanjing, Zhengzhou and Harbin. Sad that we had to compare and contrast.
My stay at Khos was splendid! The staff, the facilities and the ambiance was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious and there were plenty of options to choose from. I really loved this hotel and will definitely revisit.
The overall ambience ambience of the hotel is pleasant and well kept and the staff are generally friendly, well presented and helpful, many speaking good English which we appreciated.
