One day several years ago while I was walking around, I came close to this hotel. I was amazed at the size of the tower. I decided to enter to take a look. I was surprised at the style of the hotel and decided I would stay at this hotel when opportunity popped up. I came back to Nanjing from Canada to visit my parents and booked 3 rooms to have a family get-together at this beautiful hotel. The tour of Nanjing to places of attractions were very interesting, since it was the original capital of China. Moving around was easy and affordable by taxi (Di Di application through AliPay). All payments were easily done through WeChat and AliPay. However, the internet connection was slow and frequently disrupted. This is a perennial problem for foreign mobile phone connection unless using a local data SIM card.

Nanjing always seems to me to be a real Chinese city - I love trying to explore. The metro is easy, the city is well-connected with Beijing and Shanghai. The people in my experience were very friendly and there is a lot to see, both in museums and outside. There is a real sense of history here.

Walking on the wall is simply fantastic (6km), i cannot list all things to see there : ceramic pagoda, great wall, lake, canals, Sun Yatsen mosoleo, Purple mountain, NiuShuSan Buddha scenic area (south), Japanese Holocaust museum, town museum, and do on...
1 week is the minimum to see everything.

Nanjing is not a crowded city.
Nanjing is not a crowded city. Most attractions are within the city and can be easily reached by subway or bus. The cost of transportation in Nanjing is very reasonable. There is so much history to see and experience in Nanjing!
However, the people are not used to the sight of foreigners in town. Expect to get taken pictures of or approached by curious children.

Getting around is easy but pay attention to your distance requirements/preferences to the cbd from your hotel and the distance from your hotel to the airport. Research!!!
I stayed for a day for work but I got a glimpse of the cbd. It is neatly trimmed and sprouting with skyscrapers and relaxed community members.

Service staff and housekeeping staff were excellent, housekeeping staffs were extremely accommodating and friendly.

Hotel breakfast had a variety of spread and food was delicious too.
Location superb being very central and near to MRT line 2 which makes it convenient to get to practically all attractions nearby. Also located next to a high end shopping mall with plenty of food choices too.

The breakfast was an excellent spread of chinese and western. Personally, I love the chinese spread, being in China, I want to eat something Chinese.
The hotel location is at the centre of tourist spot, yet away from crowd and near main road where you can get cab easily. Also near an MRT station. Makes going anywhere convenient.
The staff were attentive and gave clear directions and instructions to the places that we want to go.
The location is very central. It is also close to the subway station. Breakfast is wonderful. The staff were very nice and try very hard to server our needs. One of them whose name is Ms Feng (冯）bring food from kitchen for me specifically. On my birthday, I went to room and found a delicious birthday cake on the desk with plates and utensils. I was very moved.
The staff really tried their best to help us out. Their effort is highly appreciated, from finding a lost package sent to us, to sending something out urgently while we were away from the hotel. 10 out of 10 for staff service. It’s also one of the few hotels left in Nanjing that do not refuse foreigners.
Location is in the middle of the bussiness centre, you have a lot to do around, The hotel is nice clean and modern, has a huge gym and a pool. FYI: don't forget your head cap for swimming, you will be not allowed to swimm in the pool. Also the are around the hotel was very safe and beautiful.
The hotel facilities were very nice and well-maintained. Our room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the toiletries provided too. When we ordered food delivery, the hotel also has a robot to bring it up to the room, which is very convenient!
The hotel owner is a great guy, he picked us around 2am from the airport for free, basically he make up everything, otherwise I will rate even lower. The price is super low, and despite the hotels located in a rural area, it seems quite safe.
