I wasn’t too sure when we arrived but this little family run bed and breakfast was lovely. Super value for money and both owners couldn’t do more to make you feel welcome. Lovely people.

The location is near the great wall from simatai. A quiet and nice place between mountains to enjoy your holiday. There are also restaurants which we recommend to try local food. The breakfast is nice and the houskeeping and owner are very friendly and helpful. Thank you!

The accommodation had a beautiful interior, enormous space, a great roof top with Great Wall Views and sweet little coffee shop with great coffee. The owners were incredibly warming and welcoming. Helping out in every aspect like booking tickets, organising transports, offering lifts, gifting souvenirs. The homemade food was amazing! And the portions so generous! The location was also great, only a 5 minute walk away from the cable car. Which makes it possible to go up in the afternoon when most day tourist busses have left.
We had such a great time and if I find myself back in China I will definitely come back!

Flower Yard is close to the Mutianyu Great Wall. The breakfast was amazing. Owner Angel prepared a lot food for us for breakfast, fried eggs, different kinds of fruits, fried pumpkin, toast, butter, jam, fried dumping and fresh ground coffee.
The room was so good, bed was so comfortable.
There is a terrace on the second floor with views of the mountains in the distance. The air was so fresh.
I loved to stay here.
It's best for the great wall.
I recommend going to simatai for the sunset, jinshanling for the awe inspiring views and panlong for the untamed wild serenity.
To get to panlong, you need to didi or get a car to the bottom, then pay 25rmb to get in. Once at the top, turn right (east). You have to come back the way you came(apparently there is another way down but we couldn't find it). Wear sensible shoes.
Miyun isn't easy to get around. Factor in the price of hiring a car into your trip.
