My first trip to Guilin was surprisingly delightful. The homestay I chose turned out to be a charming place on a small island, with a beautiful Chinese-style design. After breakfast, we took a leisurely stroll along the banks of the Taohua River, surrounded by picturesque scenery. The innkeeper was incredibly warm and invited us to enjoy some tea, even recommending some local tourist attractions and snacks for us to try. It's very convenient to get to the hotel by taxi, and it only takes about fifteen minutes to reach the city center. Although our schedule was a bit tight, I was able to fully appreciate the charm of Guilin. I definitely plan to come back and stay longer next time!

The hotel is well decorated, very comfortable, and has an excellent view of the surrounding karst countryside. I went primarily for the Li River but also discovered that the local area surrounding the hotel is also in a scenic area that is very beautiful and worth visiting.
