Really recommend. Besides a clean, tidy room and hotel (currently renovating some parts), chill space around reception and really beautiful terrace outside on the back. Not a full house during our stays, but still some activity with both domestic and non-domestic tours. Location just besides baoguo temple bus station (aka Emeishan transportation center) very convenient to start your Mt. Emei adventure, a hike not to be missed! Beautiful surroundings, and even in the mist the golden summit was very impressive.

You better be fit!
You better be fit! We walked 127 flights of steps and 17,000 steps and yet we only touched the bare surface of this magnificent mountain range with its stunning flora & fauna, wild & aggressive monkeys and breathtaking temples.

I guess climbing Emeishan is all about how lucky you are that day with the weather. We had no luck as it was cloudy and raining so we had no view at all from the mountain. Avoid it during Chinese holidays as there is too many people (we had no choice). Check the weather before you decide to climb so you dont waste your time up there

The only problem we had was that the cable car to the Golden summit was broken. It is a difficult 6+ kilometer hike- mostly steep stairs to the top from the cable car station. Only half of our group was able to make it to the amazing site at the top.

Decided to go for the hike up from baoguo. took us about 40k steps and 10-11 hrs to leidongping, through chunyang palace route (only stairs) but was absolutely amazing. there's quite a lot of vegetation so most views are "hidden" but there are some nice picture spots. it is very quiet and not crowded compared to other, but we made some nice encounters (wild monkeys, only 1 fellow foreign travaller, and a group of pilgrims with whom we spent most of the time).
it is possible to eat in several places, but bring own snacks (you can have proper food at qinying but early - before 11:30?) . many places that welcome ppl to stay over night too, but leidongping has hotels so it is really recommended to stay there.

It is one of the 4 sacred Buddhist mountains in China.
It is one of the 4 sacred Buddhist mountains in China. The summit was unfortunately misty after rain on the day we visited. Nevertheless, was a wonderful trip and experience to reach the Golden summit. We stayed for 1 day which was insufficient and wished we had stayed longer
The owner of the hotel is a very charming person, he is extremely helpful. He learned English by ear so you can take advantage of his advice. We very much appreciate that he has come to run a business on his own, and despite various difficulties, he is constantly trying to develop. Additionally, the location of the hotel is great. You can walk to the bus station in one minute and buy tickets for different destinations to explore more of the region. Access to Mount Emei is great too.
Clean bed and towels (although worn out). When I saw the state of cleanliness of the room and bathroom in general I was happy that the bed is clean and comfortable.
Located right next to the bus stop to the Emeishan scenic area.
Very sweet lady hostess, friendly and helpful staff.
Seemed to be the only non-smoking proprerty that also catered to foreigners.
Powerful hot shower.
In general, I got what i should expect for such low price.
We spent 3 days there. It is a budget place so don't expect much but it's warm, there's a restaurant downstairs, which is convenient, and it's right next to the Emeishan transportation center (where you buy the tickets to the mountain). Most importantly, the host is extremely accommodating. He speaks English and helps you with whatever he can. Thank you, Kiven!
The food at the inn is delicious. Try the grilled fish 👍
Teddy bear is such a fun and easy place to stay. Perfect location for everything around with the bus station next door.
Andy ( the owner ) was incredible, and helped us all along the way with getting up Emeishan and around town.
If you have any questions, ask him. He has good English.
The food is also delicious so teddy bear has all you need.
We even got a mascot to take on our travels 🧸
The resort is close to Emeishan railway station, and it is spacious with its own hot spring both indoor and outdoor. There are both indoor and outdoor playground for kids but no babysitting service. The room is huge and surroundings is quiet and feel relaxed thourought the whole stay. Staff is friendly and helpful as well. Breakfast is nice with many local special dishes.
Comfortable and very good value. The room is clean and well maintained with all the facilities of a top hotel. Near to the bus station where you can easily get a bus to Letongping. You can also catch a public bus to the giant Buddha.
I highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a budget hotel yet does not want to compromise on standards.
Great location next to transport links and shops. Unusual well-designed wooden building. Lovely roof terrace to relax, with nice view of Emeishan. Restaurant caters effortlessly for vegetarians (an unusual thing) and food is excellent. Room has aircon/heating and electric blanket. Staff are helpful.
Excellent location - a ten-minute walk from the entrance to Emeishan. The room was big and comfortable, with a nice shower and bathtub. The facilities were great - modern gym, indoor and outdoor pools, and green areas to walk around. The buffet breakfast was pretty good.
The staff was very helpful and friendly. Upon knowing that we were not locals, even offered her mobile number for us to call in case we get lost or encounters any issue.
Location of hotel is very good, centrally located near the visitor center into Emei Mountain.
The staff were very friendly and super helpful. They picked me up from the train station, helped me buy tickets and gave me tips on the best route to take to Emeishan to see as much as possible. The hotel is small but in a wonderful location!
Beautiful hotel with amazing views, the staff is amazing. They went beyond to make us comfortable and for us to get to mount Emei and to the station. Breakfast has very good selection . I recommend this hotel to anyone going to Mount Emei.
