With a little TLC (read: a big clean) this could be a real gem. Room wasn't big, but good enough. The best thing is the garden with the pool (which was closed...) which felt like an oasis in the city and is a nice place to hang out on a warm day.
There's no lock on the door of the room but it is a small hotel with just a few rooms and the host seems always around and there are cameras. The main door was always locked. So felt perfectly safe.

Great location, right next to the commercial area of Talca and very close to the train station. The hotel was pretty, the beds comfortable and the bathroom surprisingly big.
