We really enjoyed our stay here. The room was very large, with views out to the water. We went into Pucon for dinner on two nights, and found the town to be a bit too crowded and crazy for us. So it was nice to have the peace at the hotel. The host also gave us some recommendations for hiking in the area.

Lovely location in a peaceful forest just off the main road.
We had a lovely ground floor room with an outdoor patio. The room was large, bed comfortable, there settee and chair so easy to enjoy the space and the bathroom was good. (Worth noting that here, as in other places in Chile, the toilet paper should go in the bin, not the toilet!)
The breakfasts were large and had various options to please most people. Dinners are available and there is a nearby restaurant recommended by the owners which was a delight, Arbol.
The staff are outstanding. Carolina and Julia in reception were fonts of knowledge and nothing was too much trouble. The owners, Elizabeth and Bernard, were very helpful and friendly.
There is a lovely pool on site, pool towels provided. There are also seven cabanas on the land, all privately sited and with lots of space around them.

Beach is nice and clean, sand is very rough though. Sandals or shoes are recommended to use. Water is bright and clear.

Great place to have an active and nature week. Climbing the volcano and hiking around the lakes of Huerquehue is a must do, but besides that there is enough to easily fill up a week. The town is quite touristic, giving also a lot of good food options.

Probably best place to stay if you can't avtually do any tourism due to parks being closed. Just a walk around the lake with a view at the volcano and you still feel like experiencing something special!

A lovely spot but a culture shock after you have been in the wild areas of Patagonia. Very, very busy when we were there, parking is difficult. If you like fast food, plenty of noise and watching people you will love it. Personally I couldn't wait to get out
A gem in Pucon. Our three-night stay at the Antumalal was a treat. We climbed Villarrica, enjoyed teh thermals, and had a massage at the hotel's spa, a great break from our 6,000-mile motorcycle tour of the Andes. The hotel is architecturally stunning, laid back, always had a fire burning at the right time, had excellent food at breakfast and dinner, packed us nice lunches for the hikes, and generally made our stay a joy. We're tough to please, would definitely return.
This place is a gem! It is perfectly located between Pucon and Caburgua and David, the host, is wonderful. He cooks wonderfully and almost everything is homecooked and locally sourced. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the property is beautiful. It has a great view of the forest and a lovely place to watch the river. It was wonderful to stay there and we will surely come back.
Breakfast was excellent; probably the best we had during three weeks of traveling in the area. Accommodation for one celiac in our party was excellent as well! The architecture of the building was unique as well as the indigenous artwork throughout. We had great views of Volcan Villarrica, and it was giving us a bit of a light show while we were there!
The location is great. It’s only blocks from the main strip in town with all the shops and restaurants you could want.
We had an issue with the original room but the owners were very accommodating and had us in a new room asap.
We had such a great stay here, if I ever make it back to Pucón, I will definitely look here first for a place to stay.
Kari Mapu is beautiful, located between Pucon and Caburgua, cabines are very functional, clean, well kept. It is quiet and super well administrated. The complex has additional amenities such as pool, hottub and implements such as bikes and boats. The best is the cordiality and professionality of their owners and administrators.
The people who run the hostel, Priscilla and Jorge, are awesome. The breakfast is extraordinary and so delicious! The bedroom, as well as the bathroom, were very clean. And so is the cosy living room.
All in all, I would definitely recommend the La Nuez Hostel in Pucòn!
