We really enjoyed our stay in hotel Gavina, very nice hotel with great facilities. The views from the hotel were fantastic, we had a lovely sea view from our room and the breakfast area in particular had stunning views of the ocean waves.
The staff were great, especially one lady whose name I didn't properly catch (Vivianne I believe?) who was lovely and very helpful.
The location was also great, close to some very nice beaches and also right beside a street that had several nice pubs and restaurants.
Would definitely recommend!

I went to attend to specific business, so it was a fine short stay. In terms of tourism, the city has to offer some shopping/entertainment and good prices. I did not try the beaches, but they look fine. The Baquedano street is charming. I would not recommend too long of a stay though, as there is not so much to do in the city itself, unless you use it as a base to try nearby interests, which I know exist, but I did not have the time to explore myself this time. The weather in winter in very fine: short sleeves during the day and a light hoodie at night will do it.

Someone tried hard to make part of this place close to the Hilton another Miami Beach area but with great modern buildings. The environment is there but Chile, not necessarily Iquique is terribly expensive in comparison to what the people earn in return for their efforts. The prices are at international level but the attitude and lack of proffesionalism of the locals leave much to be desired.

I didn't like that on Monday all the museums and attractions...
I didn't like that on Monday all the museums and attractions were closed. To boot, their web sites said that they were open. The only place we saw was the Esmeralda museum (on Thursday). We took tours outside the city on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The historical district was very interesting and the beaches very pleasant. Would like to have had more time for the museums. Sorry the historical tram was not running in the winter. Good restaurants.

The City is very beautiful if your in the right area down town not so pretty it never rains there so you can imagine if dog poops somewhere it just sorta has to decompose there I really liked hotel sunfish beautiful area clean and green outside
Great staff, very friendly and welcoming and helpful. The beds each have a locker where you can store your belongings safely (they lend you a lock if you don't have one) and for me there was enough space for all my things and I spent a whole 8 days there. The pool and outdoor kitchen area are really nice as well, lovely place to hide away from the too bright sun or relax in the evening. I really enjoyed it. Beach is close by and so are many nice restaurants. I would definitely stay there again if I ever come back.
Everything went well with this Hotel. The staff were mostly awesome with only one exception. There was this waitress at the restaurant who would not show me my bill and would try to charge me without me checking my bill, and she even added the tip every time without asking me if I was okay with it. She was the only problem I had with the place. The rest of the staff would show me my bill and ask me before adding the tip. The bad waitress was a really short person with long dark hair. Be careful with her.
We had the best night's sleep in two months of travel here. The staff were super. The breakfast was excellent. Iquique surprised us and it was a shame we had made plans otherwise we would have loved to stay an extra couple of days.
Our room had a spectacular sea view, as I believe all of the rooms do. The room was spacious. The breakfast buffet was extensive. The hotel's food was excellent. The location was great; just a short walk from Playa Cavancha.

We were very lucky, they upgraded our room. Lovely hotel in general though, the restaurant on the roof is great vibes, feel like you can see out around the whole city.
The setting of this hotel and restaurant were incredible! The ocean was almost lapping at your feet when we were in the restaurant. The food was excellent as well.
Had everything we needed including secure parking. Host was a good communicator and made everything easy. Nice ocean view and many restaurants near by.
