The on-site restaurant was good. The staff were efficient. When I contacted the hotel after departure pointing out that they still had a security deposit of mine 'pending' on my credit card, they were quick to rectify the error and release the funds. We enjoyed the breakfast and our dinner in the restaurant.
Very friendly and supportive staff, and the covered and locked parking space for our bikes was very convenient. For 12 CHF you can leave your car in the parking (closed) behind the hotel, with access to the garden / terrace. Very comfortable bed (we even asked for the brand) and great shower room. Excellent location, easy access from the highway and very close to the old town. We appreciated the fact that we were allowed to leave our car one extra day, so that we could cycle around lac Neuchatel and pick up the car on our return.
My wife and two young teenage children arrived by bike on our bike tour through Switzerland and was wonderfully surprised at how large, clean, modern and comfortable our 'family room' was. Too bad we only stayed one night and did not have the chance to take advantage of the kitchen. Only a short walk into the old town for exploring and a restaurant. We loved staying there. A very good breakfast awaited us the next day and had us 'powered' for the next day of cycling up to the Jura region.
Spotlessly clean, comfortable bedding, brand new bathroom with huge shower and great water pressure. When you reserve it is clearly stated if the room faces the street or the patio, which so few hotels do but it is great to be able to choose!
The whole facility is central but nicely renovated. Shower gel with natural ingredients is a nice touch.
Free parking on the public street right outside from Saturday at 6 pm through Monday morning. Very nice personnel at the reception.
This is a no frills, basic hotel. Its not staffed. This was made clear when booking. The rooms were big. There was a kettle and condiments for coffee or tea, this was a pleasant surprise. No fridge though. The beds were new. There is a bus stop right outside the hotel. Its in a quiet area, not much traffic.
Beautiful hotel, comfortable room with small balcony with pool and Mountain View, very good breakfast, with private heated pool and direct access to thermal center, friendly staff. Provides bath robes and slippers.
The thermal baths were great! I really appreciate that they were included in the room price. The staff at the front desk were also very helpful and accommodating.
