We loved Thun! It is a beautiful and quiet little town. The hotel is located in the center of Thun, which makes it very convenient to visit many of its attractions. Not too many tourists. We highly recommend people traveling to the Interlaken/Jungfrau area to stay in Thun. It is approximately 10 minute walk to the Thun bus/train station. Friendly staff, we felt welcomed. Breakfast is good. They offered us a welcome drink from the bar across the hotel, it is a very nice gesture of the hotel. The water pressure of the showerhead is by far the strongest! I personally loved it. The room does not have a microwave or fridge like the hotels in U.S, but it has a common area that has a fridge to store your food in.
If I bring my family to the Jungfrau area again, I will book this hotel again.

The room was clean, modern and spacious. Especially the balcony was a highlight with beautiful views over the garden and the lake.
The Spa was not the biggest but the pools were super nice and I highly appreciated the selection of 2 separate sauna areas: 1 with swimming wear and 1 without.
We ate dinner in the Thai restaurant and were amazed by the authentic Thai tastes.
Breakfast was good but with a really bad coffee.
Pro tip: Order the coffee from the bar. You pay for it but it is worth it. :)

Thun and surrounding is a place of fantastic nature. Lakes, mountains, beautiful views and some nice cafes and restaurant. There is so many things to see, you have to stop by every village to experience local beauty. Also its quite close to such a place as Oeshinensee, absolutely stunning lake and great hiking there.

Thun is a fantastic old town with a ton of charm.
Thun is a fantastic old town with a ton of charm. From river canals to castles and gardens, you can spend hours roaming up and down the town's historic streets and paths. Plus, you can find many adventures from the town into the surrounding mountains. Less busy, more romantic, and much more history than Interlaken.

Thun was so perfect for our family.
Thun was so perfect for our family. We prefer to stay outside of big cities, that way we can venture into the city, but then retreat to our quiet town in the evening. Thun was so wonderful that we didn't even attempt to leave, apart from visiting Interlaken, which was just a 30 minute train ride away. Thun was made for walking! There is so much to see just walking through the town along the canal. Definitely be sure to walk the river, and visit the castle. Instead of taking the elevator back down from the castle, walk down. Trust me, it's adorable.
I personally didn't care much for any of the bakeries in town. I think we were spoiled in France, so the breads in Thun seemed too sweet to me, and lacked the lightness of French breads.

Extremely friendly staff, made our stay! Very clean room with nice design. Great coffee machine in the hallway of the hotel and nice breakfast. Convenient parking garage next to the hotel within the shopping mall that has electric vehicle charging station and hotel offers preferred daily rate if you book via them. Hotel has restaurant which is convenient if you want to have a dinner there (delicious food and great service). If we come back to Thun, we are going to stay here for sure! Thanks for everything!
Wonderful location with a perfect view to the alps and main mountains of the "Berner Oberland". The large family room (with two separated rooms) are very clean and comfortable. No details are missing for a perfect stay (welcome drinks for the whole family, enough sockets, bath products, chocolate and free cold water in the minibar). The little walking path, lounge at the hotel and having breakfast at the lake was wonderful. Next time we will take our bathing suits to go for a swim in the lake.
We used Thun as a base and stayed with Muna and Lucien for a week with family.
Muna and Lucien were very warm and hospitable and were great hosts.
Also the location is great. Right in the middle of old town with the train station just a 5-7 mins walk and Thun castle behind.
Having an attached kitchenette with the room was very convenient as well even though it was shared.
Would rate it 8.5 stars overall.
It is a house in front of a small market and the bus stop that goes to Thun. You can take the bus every 30 min. Very easy to move around. There is a garage, heating in the house, kitchen with all utensils and it is comfortable. It also has a beautiful view from the living room balcony. The owner is very friendly and helpful. I loved it!
Location and Ambience. However, we are disappointed that there was no lake view from the room. Booking .com description was bit deceiving stating that "Overlooking Lake Thun" and we expected rooms with lake view.
Bottom line - Don't expect lake view from the room but only while dining and walking around the hotel.
I took the panoramic delux room , with a bathtub with the view to the mountains , my stay was absolutely amazing , the staff were very helpful , and kind , the hotel is so clean, the spa was for us for an entire hour , that’s amazing . I would absolutely come back to this hotel boutique 🇨🇭

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. We loved having drinks and meals overlooking the lake and walking the trails around the lake. Staff were welcoming and helpful. Food was wonderful and vegan options were excellent. Easy access to busses, but walking is also easy.
Beautiful spacious room. Despite being a corner room facing into the street there was very little noise. Hotel is centrally located, 10 minute walk from the train station. Very friendly staff. Wonderful Tex/Mex restaurant in the hotel itself.
The owner couple Pascal and Karin has been exceptionally welcoming. We were in Thun for the Ironman event and Pascal made us a great breakfast at 4.00am and then drove us and the other athletes that stayed in his hotel personally to the start.
Located at a very nice place in Thun in between the views of the castle and river. However, not so close to the train station. However, you can use bus to reach the nearest stop which is 200 metres away from the hotel. so its perfectly fine.
