We were given an apartment in the block next door rather than a room in the hotel. It was huge. 2 separate bedrooms, Kitchen diner, lounge, balcony. Everything was clean and worked. Discounted parking 2 mins walk away too. I'd stay here again.

Thun was amazing, it was a stay over on the way to somewhere else so we hadn’t really researched it much. It was so much more than we anticipated, clean, beautiful, plenty to walk round and see. I think it is somewhere we would definitely come back. Also it’s a great location for nearby places to visit and we had a morning up in Grindelwald which was amazing

We stayed 4 nights in Thun. Its the perfect place to stay as the hotel gives you a Panaroma card which gives you free travel by train or bus - until Interlaken. Also to all the beautiful villages that the bus serivce STC has. Brilliant!!!! Room is just great very clean, housekeeping done every day. The hotel overlooks Thun lake. Amazing. A short walk of 2 mins and you can view Thun lake in all its magnificient colour

Thun and surrounding is a place of fantastic nature. Lakes, mountains, beautiful views and some nice cafes and restaurant. There is so many things to see, you have to stop by every village to experience local beauty. Also its quite close to such a place as Oeshinensee, absolutely stunning lake and great hiking there.

Thun is a fantastic old town with a ton of charm.
Thun is a fantastic old town with a ton of charm. From river canals to castles and gardens, you can spend hours roaming up and down the town's historic streets and paths. Plus, you can find many adventures from the town into the surrounding mountains. Less busy, more romantic, and much more history than Interlaken.

Magical small town with beautiful vistas of blue water and snow capped mountains. Walkable Meandering brick lined streets lined with great restaurants and boutiques. 12th century fairytale castle overlooks the town.
The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a big comfortable room with a view of the castle and was very well located eg for restaurants and old town. The hotel gave us good information about the sights and especially about nearby paid parking for which it is possible to get a discount via the hotel. There was a restaurant in the hotel and also a free coffee station and an “honesty” bar for some snacks and drinks. We were really happy there and Thun is a very nice town.
A small very cozy hotel with a family-like atmosphere and nice location in the center of Thun. I had very nice room with a view on a castle. I also greatly appreciated Muna and Lucien, who made me feel not like in a hotel, but like visiting someone else´s home. When you look for the accomodation on the street, it is from "downstairs" (it is basically located below the terrace on the lower street level)
The location of Hotel Krone was excellent. The bed was comfortable & the room was larger than expected. The water pressure in the shower was very nice too. The breakfast had many items to choose from. We also appreciated the free welcome drinks at the bar across the street.
Very pleasant staff, own parking where you can charge a car, thanks!!! Really beautiful place with stunning view from restaurant. The hotel gives transport cards, great!!
