Very newly renovated luxury hotel. beautiful rooms, excellent breakfast in beautiful breakfast room. We were upgraded to a larger room that overlooked the village square. Unfortunately the restaurant was closed (Monday), but the hotel arranged a reservation elsewhere in the village. We could store our bicycles in a closed storage space, and we could clean them as well. At walking distance there is a public spa, which was excellent after our cycle trip.
In a historic building from 1828, Hotel Fravi offers free and direct access to Andeer’s public mineral spa, which includes indoor and outdoor pools and a sauna area.

Entry into the Mineral bath spa was free for hotel guests, and it is directly attached from the hotel into the spa. So very convenient! The staff were all very friendly and I appreciated the little details such as a welcome note in the room. The restaurant had several options of local dishes so that was excellent to give them a try. There were additionally a number of more unique dishes like the Mango-Chilli cake.

Very friendly staff, and a great breakfast buffet! For cyclists, they also have a garage to lock away the bikes.
Located on the village square of Vals, Hotel Alpina is just a 5-minute walk from the Therme Vals spa centre. It offers free Wi-Fi and reduced tickets for the spa centre.
Great location for a short winter break. Alpine and cross-country skiing plus snow shoeing. Very quiet but has one or two places to eat and drink. Altes Zollhaus is recommended as a cafe and pizza restaurant.

Splügen is a place worth a visit.
Splügen is a place worth a visit. High up in the Swiss Alps, it's air is clean and the scenery is dramatic in whichever direction you look. Lots of hiking in Summer, some skiing in Winter and everywhere is peace and tranquility.
it was right on Route 6 bike trail. but more importantly was the staff. we had been cycling for 7 hours in heavy rains and the route was all uphill. when we arrived at the hotel dripping wet, the staff took our clothes and dried them. we then found out the San Bernardino Pass was closed to cyclists as there was too much snow. so the staff helped us with figuring out the bus for the next day and one that would take bikes. the staff were really very very kind.
The renovation of this old large building is beautiful, maybe not too practical for a hotel, but beautiful.
The village of Splugen is quaint and lovely, the ski area is really nice with plenty of runs, my first time back in over 40 years, great job on the new runs!
The hotel staff is awesome, especially Judith, the all around hotel host! Great restaurant, incredibly picturesque.
A great place. We've arrived with bicycles coming through the Splügenpass. It was raining so we arrived soaking wet. The stuff has invited us and shown a secure place to store our bicycles. There's a great restaurant in the building and it's in the middle of Splügen - which actually is not all that difficult since that's a very small village. The breakfast was fantastic!
Hotel Suretta was so cozy – exactly what we were looking for as we passed through Switzerland! The room was quiet and clean with AMAZING views from the front window, and the bed was so comfy. The restaurant was great too – dinner gave us a chance to try some Swiss cuisine, and the included breakfast was big and well-rounded.
The hotel is not luxury, but very comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay. The room was old-fashioned in a charmy way, with very comfortablle bed, good view and almost unbelievable quiet at night. The breakfast was served at the table and was good. The service was friendly and efficient.
The staff was super friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. The included breakfast was adequate and served with a smile. We had dinner here as well and it was delicious. Highly recommend. Splügen is a hidden gem of a village in Switzerland.
It is a nice and authentic hotel right in the middle of the little village Splügen. Food was great, the room also. Also they have a little room to safely store your bicycle, if you are on a bike tour.
Interesting place in a historic building overlooking beautiful village of Splügen but design only doesn’t make a quality hotel…. Confortable bed, basic Swiss Breakfast, nice views.
The location of the hotel is simply amazing, surrounded by mountains and a mountain river flows in front of the hotel. The room was nice and very clean, beds were very comfortable.
Friendly hotel with an excellent restaurant. A great base from which to explore the walking in the area which is excellent and the stunning Splugen pass.
