The staff were amazing. The room was modern, well thought out and spacious. It's a small hotel but the breakfast was very good and substantial. Early check in was possible as the room was ready. The area was serene, old world charm with mountain views. Great place to stay for visiting Stoos which is a bus ride away. Will stay here again next time.

We stayed in Muotathal to do the hike in the Hölloch caves, which are not far away. The hotel was conveniently located and very comfortable - and if we would decide to visit the area again, we would have no hesitation in booking at the Gasthaus Post again.
Claudia and the team were friendly and helpful. And the breakfasts and dinners we had at the hotel were very good.
We also travelled with our dog, who felt equally comfortable in the room!

Schwyz kind of has most anything you would want as an outdoors person. There is hiking, skiing, cycling (road/gravel/mountain bike), running, a large lake close by.... and more.
There are various restaurants of all types, a couple of bars in the middle of downtown for afternoon cocktails, shopping on a somewhat small scale, etc.
One of the best things everyone can enjoy is the scenery.
We were visiting the Stoos, so the location was great!! We had a great time down at the bar before retiring for the night, all the bartenders/staff we met were helpful and friendly, and the pub offered loads of board games, foosball, and darts!! The view from the hotel is amazing, and its easy to walk to wherever you need from the location (other pubs/bars/clubs/restaurants, etc.). Beds were comfy, shared bathrooms were clean, kitchen is available for use, parking free and available. Really fantastic stay!
A spacious and cozy hotel in the center of Schwyz. Very clean. Staff were very cordial and helpful. The breakfast was good, though not many hot dishes. The hotel's restaurant served some very nice dishes. We ate twice, and we were happy both times. Ms. Andrea Pere from the restaurant was extremely helpful and efficient. She even stayed late night to translate the restaurant's menu from German to English for us and shared with us the next day!!!
The hotel is ideally situated and the staff was very friendly and accommodating. We were able to leave our bags there and even check in a tiny bit in advance. We went while bars and restaurants were still forbidden indoors due to covid, so we were not able to enjoy the bar, but it looked amazing and I have no doubt it would have been a huge asset to our stay. They even had board games and a foosball table.
We arrived late to the hotel (close to 10pm) and the lovely receptionist had waited for us and gave us a warm welcome.
The hotel was easy to find and park and close to our destination of Stoos.
Breakfast was a simple traditional continental buffet but fresh and delicious.
Room was comfortable and clean and bathroom had a very fancy remote controlled bidet, if you like that type of thing!
Amazing hotel-hostel pub near Schwyz center. Rooms and common spaces where clean, nice view to the mountain. Shared kitchen with everything one could need, lockers inside with combination code if you get a shared room. Friendly staff that informed me about what to do in the area. You can ask for a visitor card that gives you discounts for activities is Schwyz, Gigi, Luzern and 4 cantons lake.

The room was generally clean, with the exception of the bathroom thrash, that was not removed from the previous guests. The hotel is in the center of Schwyz, close to the bus stops and you can easily reach Brunnen by bus.
There is coffe and water always available and fresh fruits in the room on arrival.

Value for money hostel (considering price levels in Switzerland) in a good location. It's very close to the buses that will take you to the Schwyz-Stoos funicular. Also close to the small towns in the area like Muotathal and Illgau. There are quite some restaurants close by as this hostel is very close to Schwyz Zentrum.
Very clean hotel in the middle of Schwyz town. Room was clean, had a nice shower and the bed was comfortable. I arrived a lot later than expected, around 11 pm. I contacted them beforehand and they were very accommodating, they just left the key in an envelope.

Just the right location if you want to go hiking around Schwyz. I met fellow travellers here and I find it nice to be around people with the same interests as me. The place is clean and comfortable enough.
