We chose the Ibis Styles Hotel because it is in the city center and close to the train station.

The 3-star Hotel DES ALPES is ideal for city travelers. It is located directly on the Reuss River in the picturesque, car-free old town of Lucerne right next to the world-famous Chapel Bridge.
The hotel is right behind the service center off the highway. We did have some trouble finding the hotel in the dark. It was not where we thought it would be but we got there late so in fairness it was probably our mistake. The rooms are very basic and do not have air conditioning which would have been fine under normal circumstances but the temperature was quite warm outside. We were provided with a fan. We missed the breakfast but the coffee was great. The manager was very friendly and helpful.
The room was clean, quiet and everything looks new. The shower was absolutely amazing. The beds are really comfortable.
We stayed here two nights. The hotel is near highway, but there wasn´t any niose in room.
You can have breakfast outside on the terrace.
Behind the hotel, there is fuel station, grocery shop and bistro.
The hotel is modern and comfortable.

The manager, who also tended bar and seemed to do everything else was wonderful. He cheated to us and informed us of everything available.
Fantastic location actually on the motorway, but so well insulated that we couldn’t hear any traffic noise.
Everybody working at the hotel has been extremely friendly and helpful especially when it came to our special baby needs.
We had dinner at the hotel three times and really enjoyed it. Food has been delicious and a lot.
Families with small.babies are very welcome.

It was a nice room. The hotel had a lot of things to offer small children, such as the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Location was relatively close to Lucerne, and a relatively good access to drive to attractions in the region.

Indoor and outdoor playground!! Definitely a paradise for children. Location is close to highway, easily reached by car. Large parking space. Only 20 minutes bus ride to Lucerne and the hotel provide tourist card for guests so we can take the bus for free.
Free parking , close to Zurich and Luzerne, there are grocery and gas station next to the hotel. Rooms are good, breakfast is nice, I was missing hot food such a scramble, pancakes or porridge

Have playground for kids to play. Next to the main road.. Free parking very good.
