Very kind staff, offer us free parking as we arrived a little too early. They also gave us a free travel ticket which we can use to get on public transportation to the Lucerne city centre. Breakfast was also very nice although not too much selection.
Hotel De la Paix is located in the heart of Lucerne, near the lion monument, at the entrance of the old quarter and 200 metres from the famous Vierwaldstätter lake.

View from our room is superb. the room is larger than expect.
Hotel is walkable distance from the train station about 10 minutes. The hotel can be reach on restaurant side.
While the view from the room was undeniably breathtaking, offering a picturesque backdrop, the breakfast left much to be desired. Additionally, the inconvenience of the hotel's distance from both the bus and railway stations proved to be a notable drawback. Despite these shortcomings, its proximity to a small shopping area adds a touch of convenience for guests seeking local amenities.
Easy to reach from the motorway (this was key as it was snowing quite heavily), easy parking, modern hotel with warm feeling both in the hall and in the room. Good temperature inside, the breakfast was ok nothing fancy and overall good value for money also considering that it is in Switzerlan. Very close to a Le Marche' self-service.
A good hotel with big playground. Childen will absolutely loving it. There is a lift to the second floor but stairs to the third floor. The room was clean and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean. The staff were hospitable. A good place to stay for family. There is a nearby supermarket named ALDI if you need anything.
Very conveniently located at rest area, free parking. Good option if you travel. You can head both directions (Basel/Luzern) from the hotel. Marche and Burger King restaurants next to the hotel. Good breakfast (no hot meals, but you can pick something also for take away). A playground for children in front of the hotel.
Half the price of hotels in Lucerne. 20 minute journey into centre by public transport. No charge for parking (20 CHF per night in centre). Evening meal excellent. Waitress exceptionally helpful, and no problem "varying" meal.. Breakfast not extensive, but good quality, and best coffee of our trip.
Everybody working at the hotel has been extremely friendly and helpful especially when it came to our special baby needs.
We had dinner at the hotel three times and really enjoyed it. Food has been delicious and a lot.
Families with small.babies are very welcome.

It was a nice room. The hotel had a lot of things to offer small children, such as the indoor and outdoor playgrounds. Location was relatively close to Lucerne, and a relatively good access to drive to attractions in the region.

Perfect location when driving from France to the Swiss Alps. Hotel is beautifully clean, breakfast delicious, lots of parking and conveniently located next to a Coop and Burger King. Just a 15 minute drive into the centre of Lucerne. Highly recommend!
Free parking , close to Zurich and Luzerne, there are grocery and gas station next to the hotel. Rooms are good, breakfast is nice, I was missing hot food such a scramble, pancakes or porridge
The hotel next to gas station.. It's very easy to get foods for dinner if u don't want to spend time outside..
