The hotel exceeded my expectations. The room was very large, same as bathroom. We had a fantastic view on the lake and a second side balcony with the view on the village. Breakfast was decent. We also had a nice dinner at hotel restaurant. Having only 2 floors, the hotel has an elevator. Also, they have a covered free parking for hotel guests and an electric charger for electric cars. We arrived with an electric car and it was so good to get it charged by the hotel because the nearest electric charger was far away.

Oberhofen Is an area in the outskirts of the city of Thun and it also is located on the shores of lake Thun. There is nothing particularly good about the place except that if you walk 400m you can sit by the lake in a not so bad of a location in terms of view.

The staff and landlord were very friendly and open. They gave us many ideas regarding sightseeing and things to do in the area of Thunersee, and we could reach out to them at all times. Our apartment had the most spectacular view of the Thunersee, and the hottub also made the whole experience even more memorable. It felt more like visiting friends instead of renting a hotel room.
