The location was excellent. Only a short walk from the main city centre. There were sufficient eating options close by including a supermarket. The cooking facilities had everything we needed it was just so well equipped.
The attention to detail was exceptional. A bottle of wine and Toblerone chocolate on arrival was a nice touch.
It was the best accommodation we had in our 6 week overseas trip. Highly recommended.

Villa Matten is nestled in a peaceful location with breathtaking views all around. It’s just a short walk from the Matten train station and a bus stop, making it easy to get around. We traveled with small luggage, and reaching the villa from the train station was hassle-free. Our host, Tony, was exceptionally friendly; he welcomed us, showed us around the property, and provided a complimentary Interlaken guest card. There are several restaurants within a 500-600 meter walk, and it's only about 1 km to Interlaken town. It’s an ideal spot for those traveling by train to Lauterbrunnen or Grindelwald. Highly recommend!

There were 6 of us and the size of the house was perfect with 3 separate bedrooms, decent size kitchen with everything you need for cooking, large living and dining room and a great bonus of washing machine and dryer just downstairs. The owner stacked up on toilet paper, coffee pods/tea bags which is very generous and she’s a delight to deal with and always willing to assist. I highly recommend this place and would use the same accommodation. Another plus is the coop is 3 mins away, plenty of good restaurants in the back street of the property and easy walking distance to Interlaken west station.

This is the best accommodation we had in our journey. It’s worth the money. We had a very good breakfast as well.
The apartment is very well kept and super clean. You have all the necessary stuff to make your stay comfortable with family. Also, the view from our bed room balcony was simply breathtaking. It's very conveniently located near to the bus station, train station and coop department store.
