Nice view facing the raging river and mt pilatus.we occupied the topmost floor and room is divided into 3 sections (each with its own ceiling fans for ventilation - important) that suited to meet our needs of family of 4. The breakfast was very good. Location wise, it is short scenic walk to the train station and lot of food options near the hotel.

The location is convenient for travel into Lucerne by train. Some easy hikes are also possible. The hotel seems to have a long tradition, and there appears to be a common room one can sit in for reading.
Ideal spot for a night or two if you are visiting Malters. Quick walk from the train station & nearby restaurants if you want a pizza or quick meal. Quirky old house!
