It’s a posh looking hotel with rich history and it has definitely renovated with fine finishing. Guess you pay for quality and comfort, more importantly it’s just across the train station so it’s very convenient and near a lot cheaper for eateries.

The view overlooking Lake Geneva is exceptional, so be sure to book a room with balcony on the lakeside. Our room was on the top floor with 2 balconies on the front overlooking the lake, and 2 balconies on the side. It was very large, with an equally large bathroom. The entire hotel is superbly decorated and elegant. The staff was outstanding in every respect, from the doormen and valets, to the reception and concierge, to the restaurant staff, as well as housekeeping. The restaurant was delightful with an interesting menu.
