The location was great as it was very near the Staubbachfall Waterfall. Toilet was clean. There was a sink in the room which made washing up convenient. There was also a table with chairs for people who require it.

Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful little town in a great location with many activities/adventures all around it. Staubbach Falls is a huge waterfall viewable throughout the valley and mountains above. The trains and cable cars to nearby mountain tops and villages are super convenient. Three days in Lauterbrunnen is just enough to see the valley, the mountains to the east, and the mountains to the west. Don't drive--take the train!

One of the top wonderful creations of God!
One of the top wonderful creations of God! A must visit place in Swiss. It's really a cute fairytale valley surrounded by mighty mountain ranges on either sides flowing numerous Loud-Fountains (in German, Lauterbrunnen 😀) We were staying there and have plans with my family to re-visit again and again 😀 a lot to explore still.

This valley is beautiful.
This valley is beautiful. It had amazing views and mutliple things to do. The restaurants weren't the best with exception to Restaurant Weidstübli and Betty's Corn Dogs. Those two places were amazing! The town vas very crowded at times and we were there in the sholder season. Not sure if I would visit here in the summer because the downtown area is very limited.

Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe.
Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.
Amazing place. Great location. The view is amazing. Close to the river. The rooms were fine and exactly how you'd expected them to be. They were very clean. The staff was friendly and gave us great suggestions. They had small market on place and offered everything you need (supplies, food, coffee, etc.). Even if there is a shared bathroom for several rooms, everything was very clean. We traveled to Germany and a bit of Switzerland with our teenage boys, and this was their favorite stay so far.
A wonderful place to stay in Lauterbrunnen. The home is spacious and comfortable; the perfect base to enjoy walks, hikes and quick train rides to villages nearby. The beauty in this area is astounding; absolutely breathtaking - loved having my morning tea on the balcony while viewing the majestic waterfalls. Experts believe that the inspiration for J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings were taken from this spectacular region of Switzerland.
The staff at Hotel Oberland were absolutely wonderful throughout my stay. Upon arrival, Matheus was generous enough to carry my suitcase to my room while Mirka made sure I had food as it had been a long travel day. They provided me with excellent recommendations. My room was clean and had everything that I could have needed. My two dinners at the restaurant were phenomenal. I felt like family from the moment I entered the hotel.
So many things! The location is absolutely amazing, with a splendid view of the Lauterbrunnen valley and the waterfalls. We were greeted by Lillian who made our trip so much better by giving us recommandations on what to visit during our stay. The rooms were comfy, although a double bed would have been better than two twins. The fascilities are shared as it's a hostel, but they were clean and practical. Will come again for sure!
We loved how unique this property was. We are avid campers, but for this trip we had luggage and none of our camping gear so we opted for one of the fox cabins. It was quaint and just what we needed for our time in lauterbrunnen. We hope to be back here in the future! Also loved the location, that it was tucked back in the valley away from some of the bustle of the tourism in the city. Also loved the onsite shop and restaraunt.

The manager is working very successfully to make sure each guest has a wonderful stay. This B & B is situated in a beautiful valley, close to bus and trains. It is very clean, beds are comfy and breakfast is a highlight. Fruit, yogurt, granola, freshly made scrambled eggs, breads, juices, coffee, tea, cheese and ham. Alk for a goid price in a very well run B & B. Would recommend to all who visit Lauterbrunnen.
Hotel and restaurant have very kind and helpful personal, who was ready to help us with touristic information about the surrounding. The food in the restaurant is really delicious. The beautiful waterfalls are just in walking distance between 5-10 min and the hotel is just 5-10 min walking from the railway station Lauterbrunnen, so it’s very convenient. We had very nice stay with my mother😊
The location was great. Within walking distance of the train station and on the valley's pedestrian friendly road. The room was clean and comfortable. The pub is open most of the day/night, and its prices are reasonable by Switzerland's standards. You never fully know what to expect with shared bathrooms, but these were always clean. Overall pretty good value for the area.
The hotel is located next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. There is a bit of a walk to the Staubach waterfall. The staff was very generous. They were kind enough to give us an electric water heater to keep in the room. The breakfast had good options of bread, meat and fruits which were satisfying for us. We had a good view of the surrounding mountains from the room.
You can’t get a better location than this!! Directly in the middle of Lauterbrunnen with everything you need within a 5 min walk. the hotel is comfortable and warm. Its an old chalet so it’s got character, it’s a good thing! We had a double room which had a balcony with absolutely ridiculously amazing views. The restaurant downstairs is good.
The breakfast is breads, meats, cheeses, and hard boiled eggs. The location is good, about 7 minutes from the train station (uphill), the entrance is a little confusing as the restaurant is in front of the hotel. The view from our room was especially good, it looked right up the valley with a view of the waterfall.
The room looks exactly the same from the pic( we have the access to the garden and i love it. I personally like breakfast pretty much scamble eggs, sausages cheese and all kinds of breads. About the location.. it is just across the road from the station. Look out for the signage for Hotel Silberhorn.
We absolutely loved our stay at valley hostel. It was a last minute booking but the hostel location was right on the Main Street of Lauterbrunnen. Our room was basic but had everything you needed. Bathrooms were shared and were clean. We loved it!
The town itself is the most amazing place!
Up in the Alpes mountains few waterfalls right in town, lots of beautiful Chalets and small hotels. Cable cars run up to other little towns on top the mountain. A must see if visiting Switzerland!!
The hotel was very accessible from the train station, the cablecar and the main street in Lauterbrunnen. The room was a great size and the beds were quite comfortable. Excellent breakfast. The view from the balcony was amazing.
This is the third hotel in Lauterbrunnen build in theearly 20th. Yet very beautiful with terrace, self kitchen (you can cook your own meals), good breakfast, and great location - next to the great waterfall. Parking is free.
