This is an amazing hotel. A two minute walk from the train station, it is perfectly located to take a cable car up to Murren, or take a train (they run really frequently!) to Wengen and beyond. The views towards the valley are immaculate, and you get a true feeling of calmness surrounded in amazing nature and cute village architecture.
The lobby is clean and sleek, as is the breakfast room, which is ample and provides great views to the street and inner garden. Breakfast itself was really good and generous, and the staff service super helpful ensuring you are done before they turn off any equipment in case you arrive right before the closing hours.
My room was cozy, big and comfortable, with everything you may need to have a good stay. It had a huge balcony that let me walk and observe the valley in both directions. Dawn and dusk is always fascinating as the weather changes so fast here. I would find myself glued to the views for hours on end, after a day outside exploring.
The charming, historic and family-run Hotel Oberland in the centre of Lauterbrunnen is only a 5-minute walk away from the train station. The Staubbach waterfall is nearby.

The location was great as it was very near the Staubbachfall Waterfall. Toilet was clean. There was a sink in the room which made washing up convenient. There was also a table with chairs for people who require it.

This traditional property was very comfortable, clean and provided everything we wanted. It is in a great location with great views to the church and Staubbach waterfall and within walking distance of everything. The hosts were friendly and quick to respond to our enquiries.

Lauterbrunnen is a beautiful little town in a great location with many activities/adventures all around it. Staubbach Falls is a huge waterfall viewable throughout the valley and mountains above. The trains and cable cars to nearby mountain tops and villages are super convenient. Three days in Lauterbrunnen is just enough to see the valley, the mountains to the east, and the mountains to the west. Don't drive--take the train!

One of the top wonderful creations of God!
One of the top wonderful creations of God! A must visit place in Swiss. It's really a cute fairytale valley surrounded by mighty mountain ranges on either sides flowing numerous Loud-Fountains (in German, Lauterbrunnen 😀) We were staying there and have plans with my family to re-visit again and again 😀 a lot to explore still.

This valley is beautiful.
This valley is beautiful. It had amazing views and mutliple things to do. The restaurants weren't the best with exception to Restaurant Weidstübli and Betty's Corn Dogs. Those two places were amazing! The town vas very crowded at times and we were there in the sholder season. Not sure if I would visit here in the summer because the downtown area is very limited.

Excellent rail link from Interlaken and then access by train or cable car to various mountains. Whilst the village is quiet it has a coffee shop and a few other shops open during March, I'm sure many more in the Summer.

The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful.
The town Lauterbrunnen is wonderful. Small town with a cliff on both sides. Very scenic. Murren and Shilthorn the Ski Attractions are accessible through Lauterbrunnen. Nice cosy hotels and wonderful food and friendly people is what Lauterbrunnen offers. Its very close to the wonderful town Wengen (20 min via train) which is at a Hill top opposite to Lauterbrunnen and connects to Jungfrau - The Top of Europe.
Lauterbrunnen is a must visit town if one is visiting Switzerland and wants to enjoy a very scenic and less crowded experience.
This hotel is in a stunning location with views down the Lauterbrunnen valley. We stayed in a room with a balcony and valley views, which was amazing to wake up to and relax on in the evening. The hotel is also conveniently situated near the train station via a short walk.
All the staff are lovely. I'd read several reviews before arriving which said the manager, Adam, was fantastic. I would definitely agree. He was very welcoming and friendly, and was really helpful with advice and tips for our daytrips.
The hotel was situated right across the train station. Very convenient if using Lauterbrunnen as your hub to visit other places. Walking distance to the trails and waterfalls. Nice view from our balcony. We did not realize that the rooms were not in the main hotel but across the street to their annex bldg. If booking and you are expecting to be housed in the hotel pictured in the site, make sure you specify to avoid being disappointed though the annex bldg is really clean and spacious.
The room is just refurnished I thought. It is roomy and comfort. The balcony has the view to the fall, it is very pretty in the morning when the first sunshine say "good morning" to the valley. The location is close to the train station, very convent but with luggage it is a little tough because of the uphill. The breakfast is nice and you should reserve dinner at the hotel's restaurant. They serve good food that you have difficult time to find it at the town in the evening.

Most epic view I found in Switzerland. Truly incredible to be looking right down the valley with an unobstructed view of the glaciers, not far away, three waterfalls on either side of the valley, and base jumpers, jumping off the cliff. A truly spectacular view, excellent facilities, very comfortable bed, very quiet. Great communication from the host. Easy to check in. Pretty easy to find. One of the best places I’ve ever stayed at through Booking.com.
Look no further if you are planning on a stay in the amazing Lauterbrunnen Valley. Spectacular chalet-style penthouse apartment with some of the best views of the valley. Super spacious and very clean. The host provided check-in instructions days before our arrival and was always available when needed. Just a short walk to the heart of the village/train station. I can not recommend this unit enough! We'll be back and we will stay here again.
This charming little hotel is perfect for its price and value. Small yet comfortable, quiet and the rooms were clean. It’s centrally located in Lauterbrunnen and although the restaurant isn’t affiliated with the hotel, it’s convenient. The front receptionist was helpful and the elevator was a nice bonus, especially since we had a wheelchair. Oh the view of Stabbauch fall from our room balcony and outside the hotel, is amazing!
rooms were really cozy with big windows and a great view. the hotel is in the center of lauterbrunnen with a café on the ground floor (which is also where you check-in). great budget option compared to other accommodations in the area. definitely worth it if you don't mind sharing a kitchen and bathroom with other people. the kitchen has everything you need and there's a grocery store 2 mins away from the hotel.
Location, location, location!!! The bus stop is just outside the house, so it was super convenient to carry our luggage to and from the train station. The waterfalls were within view and the walk to town was easy and picturesque. Reka our host was bubbly, cheery and super nice. The apartment was very comfortable, amenities were complete and it was the nicest place we stayed in while in Switzerland.
My best discovered place, Lauterbrunnen wow wow, best magical walk in this small town, every one super kind. This hotel it s ok, price and quality, clean, the staff is very helpful and good food ate the restaurant. But the most important the peace that you feel in the place have a big value for me. I will be coming again for sure and i recommend to people love nature.
The location is perfect! Three minute walk from the train station in Wengen. The apartment has a balcony with a beautiful view of the mountains, it is very comfortable and spacious! Perfect for families! Very easy check-in, check-out process. Definitely recommend it for anybody coming to this beautiful part of Switzerland.
A nice and clean 3 bed, 1 bath property about 10 minute walk from Lauterbrunnen train station.
Kitchen was equipped for simple meals.
Beds were comfortable and on the firm side which I like.
Hot showers were pleasant after a day of strenuous hiking.

The location,the chalet and the host(Debra)... she is really friendly and she even gave us something to bring on the way back to our country.. also when we arrived there was a surprise basket...we will for sure recommend the speelbound to all the people we know who wants to visit switzerland 😀
The Valley Hostel is perfectly located in the center Lauterbrunnen. The accommodation is basic but functional. You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low.
The view from the balcony is breathtaking!
It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
Location. Lauterbrunnen up there as the most beautiful place in the world. Spectacular. Hotel room was very good but not the "good" view. A bit of confusion about how many nights we booked for but all got sorted. Cafe downstairs was good.
