The village is peaceful with traditional buildings and the hotel stands in nice grounds up a steep hill with nice views. But without a car we found the hill leading to the hotel too much so had to get a taxi each time we came back. There is a regular bus service a short walk away that we used. The hotel room was very dated and in need of a make over but clean and comfortable. There was no tea or coffee provided in the room so we had to buy our own in town. Despite having a large well equipped dinning room the hotel does not provide evening meals.
Post Hardermannli is a typical chalet-style hotel, located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Interlaken and the West Train Station. It offers stunning views of the Jungfrau Massive.

Perfectly located for a stay in Interlaken. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking directly outside the hotel. Excellent freshly cooked eggs available for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar is no longer available but there are plenty available nearby. Would recommend checking/requesting ground floor if mobility is an issue - lots of stairs!

It has a cosy cove and a quite retreat holiday with easy access with the 103 free bus shuttle into Interlaken was very helpful, leaving moist days every 30 minutes. The small shop there is adequate for essentials.
We loved kayaking on the lake and has regular ferry crossing which is an added attraction. There are a few restaurants in the area which is handy.
A great place to go to to escape the busy city for a calm and peaceful break and would highly recommend.

Iseltwald is a beautiful village near Interlaken. But little away from all attractions and need to take a bus to go to Interlaken and takes around 25 minutes. Evening last bus is around 8pm and need to plan your activities accordingly
Otherwise Iseltwald is a nice place and you get an experience of staying in a Swiss village!!!

Iseltwald is a small village near Interlaken (30 minutes bus ride) with the most breath-taking views. It was one of the most mesmerising and peaceful places I have ever been to. I would highly recommend everyone who plans to do things near Interlaken to visit/stay at Iseltwald.

Beautiful location. Apartment was really great. Swimming in the lake in summer is special. The hotel overlooking the lake isa just a 1 minute walk from the apartment and has great food, Great Lake views and cold beer.
The Staff.. The Staff.. The Staff ! The were very nice, helpful and also patient :) specially Carlos who was very gentle and helpful and lifted my heavy luggage for me without asking him to do so and refused any kind of reward for that.. You can have a very nice breakfast with an awesome view. The hotel also gives you a discount card for the public transportations.. The room was clean and tidy with all the facilities I needed. The view and the balcony really exceeded my expectations.. They were more than amazing.
Everything about the property was just awesome.
If you have the opportunity, book it!
The apartment was light and airy, with every door a glass door opening to the spacious balcony.
The furniture is tasteful and clean. The bathrooms were very good, the kitchen well equipped.
Elena was a joy to communicate with and was very flexible!

What's not to like? Iseltwald is a small, quiet village conveniently located to all attractions. We had a car, but transportation was readily available in the event we didn't want to use the car.
Our apartment was fully equipped with everything we needed, including parking. The check-in/out process was easy, and the staff was extremely friendly and welcoming - i felt like a local walking around the village, sitting by the lake soaking up the atmosphere and vibe.
The apartment was modern, light & spacious. It was comfortable and very well appointed. The apartment I stayed in had the most amazing panoramic views of beautiful Lake Brienz. The property enjoys what I can only describe as the best location in Iseltwald , on the lakefront and directly facing the jetty and ferry stop. The host of the property was friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend this property.
We enjoyed this location as a point to explore the lake and the nearby mountains. It was clean and quiet. The main road is at a distance so the apartment is quiet and feels safe for the kids playing outside. It's a professional location with a hotel, so picking up the keys was routine. It's a few hundred metres from a great diving board and ladder into the lake and we swam a few times a day. Lovely.
This is a family hotel of local. One of the purpose of my trip is to experience local houses of wood, this is the right one! Very friendly family, with their lovely dog and animals. The rooms are cozy, warm, with one big kitchen of all we need, a bedroom and living room with sofa, table and TV. If you want to expericence rooms and life of local people, this is where you'll like.

6 and the size of the apartment was just perfect. She’s very helpful and has given us lots of tips of where to go. There is a convenient store next to the apartment. The lake is only a few steps away. Iseltwald has become our favorite place in Switzerland. Would definitely stay here again.
The view of the lake from the hostel was the best in my trip to Switzerland. The price was also very affordable making it the best deal in town. There was also a free guest card which allowed us to travel to Interlaken by Bus for free. There was a common kitchen with free coffee and tea available too.
This location is AMAZING! We loved that it was out of the way from the main tourist area, and with the most beautiful views from the room. A true hidden gem. Check out the cute little dive bar down the road from the hotel too for a nice afternoon drink break.
Iseltwald is naturally gorgeous, and the view was great. The host, Helen, was very friendly and accommodating. The room was spacious and well-appointed, and there was ample bedding. The room was also sufficiently warm, given that I visited in winter.

Lake Lodge Hostel is right on the shore of Lake Brienz in Iseltwald. We took the ferry, walked a short distance, and settled in to enjoy the lake and the views.
Amazing view out the bedroom window of the lake and Chateau. Nice flat with everything we needed. Two bathrooms was nice. Good food at the hotel restaurant.
