It was an amazing stay. The room, the facilities, the breakfast, the service, everything was great. But most importantly, the staff here have such a kind heart. My family and I were in a very difficult situation when we arrived at the hotel late night because of the disruptions in our travel. The two gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and supportive and went extra mile to help us, even though they don’t have to. They saved my day, big credit to them. To those who are considering this place, rest assured you will be in good hands as the staff here are truly kind and want people to have the best time.

The location was great, about 10-15 mins from Interlaken West and Interlaken Ost stations.
The room was very cosy and clean, and had a private bathroom and balcony which was very nice.
We were on the top floor so it was quiet in terms of noise from other people and from outside (we couldn't hear the buses etc from the top floor).
There is access to a small kitchen so you would also be able to cook if you wanted to.
It is not as outrageously priced as other places in Interlaken so being able to book this more affordable accommodation actually made it possible for us to visit this beautiful place. It was better than what we had expected considering the much cheaper price compared to other places nearby.

Interlaken is a good base for a break to see the Bernese Oberland as it has good rail links to the many other well known towns like Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald, Brienz etc.
Train services are expensive, but very efficient.
However, I would not choose to visit Interlaken if I were not staying there. It is pricey and can be busy, food options are very limited and it has a lot of car traffic.

Interlaken is a great starting point for touring the region. If the clouds prevent going to the tops of the mountains, the two lakes are beautiful to explore. There are summer and winter sports, and picturesque towns and walking trails all over the region, with excellent train service to all. A number of excellent restaurants as well.

We stayed for 3 nights in Interlaken. Bettina and Sven, are wonderful hosts This holiday apartment had everything available for day to day requirements like, bath soaps, dishwasher pods even offered two loads of laundry., Luggage storage. We are very happy with the services on top of breathtaking view from this property. We would definitely rebook in future and recommend too.

What a lovely city that's clean with fresh air.
What a lovely city that's clean with fresh air. Easy to walk around the riverside - visits to Lake Thun / Lake Brienz for beautiful views. Small towns/hamlets along the lakes are easily accessible via daily cruise.
We love how detailed the instruction was given traveling to our accommodation. And the host, Marco - he is so helpful and full of details in terms of cleanliness, travel information, weather & what to do around Interlaken.
Marco even gave a free pair of new gloves as the weather is freezing cold while we were cycling. While doing laundry, we even noticed how the host was preparing for next guest stay by full cleaning and ironing.
Overall, it feels like we are staying home in Switzerland.

After a two year wait, having to postpone and reschedule three times due to COVID, we were finally able to realize our trip to Switzerland! Neuhausen Gold and Strandhotel had the opportunity to say no to our rescheduling, but did not and even had the flexibility to accommodate us an additional night!! Not only was that a huge relief, the staff, property and their resourcefulness was invaluable. Great location for visiting many stunning locations. Highly recommend.
The room was very nice with newly renovated rooms and bathroom. We had a nice balcony which was nice and we enjoyed our evenings with beautiful views. It was quite Hot on the first day and then the next day it was cooler. The hotel provided with fans in the room which unlike our other hotels in Switzerland didnt offer any.
The reception was very helpful and attentive to all our needs.
The breakfast was great and the options were really good. Staff was friendly and helpful too, allowing us to checkin early when we arrived early at the hotel to drop our bags. We got breakfast included which made the price of the booking quite worth it. Also hotel was clean and our room was spacious. Great value for money especially compared to other hotels we stayed in in Switzerland!
Perfect place to stay in Switzerland. Its just a minute across the train station, bus station and ferry. We have stayed for 5 days and every single day as soon as we reach back it’s cleaned. The room is spacious, has nice views from both sides. Highly recommended to stay. Would be nice to have a bidet as its more sustainable.

Hotel Hirschen was fantastic and just what we wanted - a traditional Swiss Chalet Style hotel for our trip to Switzerland. The room had fantastic views and we had a lovely breakfast. This is one of the best hotel/Spa in Switzerland. The room was really large and super comfort. The staff is very professional. The breakfast is fabulous for those who have never been, but is the same as 4 years ago, I was expecting something different and fewer paid dishes.
Rent travel adapters, no need to take out the bedding yourself, wash room in the dorm room + bathroom in the hallway, great view, reasonably well connected, free bus pass for the day, private laps by the beds. The best hostel ever in Switzerland so far for me!

I really don’t recommend this place unless you are travelling to Switzerland on a rough budget, which is a bad decision. Hotel Does not meet the 1 star rating compared to all the hotels I stayed.
