Everything was fine. The room was alittle bit small but with all facilities. Anyway, with the beautiful panorama nobody really wants to remain in the room. Super clean. Friendly and helpful personnel. Rich breakfast with quality products.

Good supermarkets with good opening hours.
We didn’t try the restaurants as we were visiting relatives but we did get a great takeaway - burritos. You can even swim in Lake Zurich by walking down to the waterside at various points.

This place is a true gem and Sabrina and Pascal are the best hosts I've ever met (and there have been quite a few). The hotel is full of charm and history. It's well maintained, clean, great wifi connection. Luxurious duvets for our unexpected snowy stay mid-April. Super breakfast, strong, fresh coffee and personalised, connection based treatment as guests. Great location within Horgen too, close to all transport links and amenities. Highly recommended.

Cons:-
1. It's far from all the tourist attractions in Zurich.
2. Owner lady doesn't give any privacy with her constant questions and sermons. Self and wife felt like living in school hostel. Too much of interference.
3. There is no lock in the room door from inside.
This unpretentious hotel offers quiet rooms with lake views and a decent breakfast at hard to beat rates. The host is agreeable and flexible, arranging for late arrivals thanks to a key lockbox. Horgen can very easily be reached by S-Bahn from Zurich, and there are busses to the station 2x/hour passing right in front of the hotel.
The place is fine if you just need a place to sleep and have breakfast near Zürich for work and have a car to move around. It is closed to the lake and a 10 min walk from Horgen train station. The breakfast was good and it was clean.
The ability to make my own breakfast was what made me choose the appartment instead of a regular hotel:-) Location's close to the lake and to the station with trains and buses, I found the location great.
It’s in a great location, right opposite the train station (Horgen) and the rail system is pretty easy to use. You can also get buses just outside. The internal decor is also beautiful.
The hotel location is very good. It is an old, charming building. My room was spacious with a single bed. The staff were very helpful and the breakfast was top class.
