Grindelwald is located in a picturesque mountainside...
Grindelwald is located in a picturesque mountainside conveniently located very close to the train station and multiple attractions. Bebbi’s was a fun dining experience. The tram ride to Pfingstegg was unique, the car itself old fashioned in decor and even had alpine music playing. Unfortunately there was construction ongoing at the train station while we were there.

One of the most stunning locations we have been to.
One of the most stunning locations we have been to. We purchased the 3 day pass allowing us to travel by train, bus, cable care and boat, up and down the different locations all from Grindelwald. We were there for the start of summer but take your thermals 😂. Harder Klum and Top of Europe were the other two standout locations. If the weather is not so good use the web cams for the locations to see what is the best option for that day. Takeaway Pizza from 191 was the best pizza we had there. Our hotel hosts were fantastic !!!

I thank myself for staying in Grindelwald rather than Interlaken. It is a much more peaceful and lovely village, surrounded by mountains, wildflowers, and chalets. I enjoyed strolling through the neighborhood every day. Cooking in the chalet with your loved ones and sharing food with the view will be a great memory for you.

Beautiful views of the Swiss green and the snow mountains alike. Highly recommend Jungfraujoch , Grindelwald first, brienz lake cruise in specific. Do know that you would have to pay local tax in addition but can use the hotel card to claim some discount if you’re shopping / eating something .

Beautiful place, even just by stepping outside the room you'll be surround by beautiful snowy mountains. There is sufficient eateries, shops and supermarkets to cater to visitor needs. Getting around is breezy as there is frequent bus during the day. At night you could just walk around as the area is not too large. Getting into and out of Grindelwald is convenient via train. From Grindelwald you can access many interesting locations within 30 minutes: Lauterbrunnen, Grindelwald-First, station to jungfraujoch. Even Interlaken city is less than one hour away by train. Please allocate enough time to experience winter sports in Grindewald

Before visiting Grindelwald I had only seen pictures of it in Spring and Summer so I was a bit apprehensive when I booked but it far exceeded our expectations. Its a wonderful place to stay in and we could've stayed here much longer.
Beyond expectation. The staff anja marie if i am not spell her name wrong, was very helpful and patient helped me when it comes to pcr test problem. She helped to called the pcr testing center because i've yet to receive the result i needed to go to back to my country.
The view is great. They gave us an upgrade to corner room
The dining room is clean of flies. I ve stayed in several places in Switzerland and some of them even 5 stars name can have a flies around restaurant. Distrubing your dining time. But belvedere is very clean
Staff were super helpful, friendly and informative. Breakfast was great and a nice variety. Hotel is in THE BEST SPOT!! Walking distance to the train station, grindelwald first and multiple restaraunts. The view from the room was incredible and felt like we were looking at a painting. I would highly recommend and if we are ever lucky enough to visit Grindelwald again, we will be staying here.
The staff was friendly, and I think we were greeted by the owner. They explained the hotel to us in detail. We felt welcomed. Although we almost passed out walking up to the hotel with our luggages, the view from our room with the balcony was totally worth it. Great breakfast, we enjoyed it very much. If I bring my family to visit Grindelwald again, I will consider booking this hotel again.
Beautiful hotel with incredible views. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. We appreciated the champagne and treats provided by the hotel to celebrate our honeymoon. Breakfast was great and had a variety of options to choose from. They even provide champagne for mimosas. The beds are comfy, and TV in room is larger than most hotels. A very relaxing stay in beautiful Grindelwald.
The hotel had such an amazing spa area. I didn't realise how many saunas there were until I got there. It was a Saturday night and I had the spa all for myself, enjoyed several saunas as well as jacuzzi.
Breakfast was also good, they had so many options to choose from.
The staff was helpful and friendly, despite me making a last minute booking only after I got to Grindelwald.
Our stay in Hotel Grindelwalderhof was perfect for our three night stay in Grindelwald. Location was walkable from the train station with easy access to the First Gondola. Looking out our balcony at the peaks and glaciers was amazing. The breakfast served in the morning was very convenient to start our day. The front desk staff was very helpful.

Amazing place to stay in Grindelwald. Family owned and run hotel, very authentic exterior and interior. Location is brilliant in a short distance from crowds, at the same time being on the main street. It can’t get enough of the spectacular view to the mountains while enjoying glass of wine on a balcony.
The staff is amazing and the hotel has a long history. The food is amazing and worth adding the dinner! We enjoyed one of our favorite meals in Switzerland there. The pool and hot tub views are incredible. The front desk scheduled our tickets for paragliding and took great care of us. We loved it here.

Good breakfast with selection of espresso-based coffee and variety of juices, staffs were friendly. Rooms size was adequate. Location was right in front of Grindelwald First, Gondola Station. Bus station for both direction are right in front of the hotel.
Location very strategic, near the Grindelwald train station and store, the hotel view is very nice too so you can see the Grindelwald valley and the snowy mountain around Grindelwald. They have lift also so traveler with big luggage easily go to the room.
A family run luxury hotel is the best of both worlds. The team quickly resolved a booking error (my bad), and the hospitality, both the main restaurant and the bar, was top notch. Highly recommend for some recovery after outdoor adventures.
We booked a room with Eiger view and it was fantastic... The hotel is easy to access from Grindelwald train station / terminal station with local bus ride of less than 5 minutes. The hotel is located at a quiet and peaceful neighbourhood.
Staff were friendly and helpful; our rooms had a great view of Eiger; spa was a fantastic resource; breakfast was the best of any hotel I have experienced; restaurant (dinner) was very good too; very convenient to Grindelwald First.
The view of this hotel is awesome. Walkability is also superb. Just 5 mins away from Grindelwald station and 1 min away from the First ticket counter. If you are looking for a view this is the must opt hotel.
