We stayed at Niederbauen room, and has a stunning view of the mountain and lake. The room is very spacious and clean, there is a balcony, sofa, and a spa bath. The pillow was too soft for me, but they have a pillow & duvet menu (yes, you read it right - PILLOW AND DUVET Menu!!), so you can request which pillow you preferred.
Staff is professional and friendly. The breakfast is pretty good. Highly recommend this accommodation!

village , the cleanliness, the bus services , they have a tourist centre to help, the lake itself is biggest attraction, local people are very friendly and helpful

This is a great hotel to get away from the hubbub of everyday life. Excellent views, choice of walks, close to the cog train to Mt Rigi as well as the ferry service.
Ronnie and Bruno, both of whom run the in-house restaurant, are friendly, charming and entertaining. Both speak English well.
Fully recommended.
The location is absolutely fantastic! We were sitting outside by the lake until midnight! We stayed at the chalet, such a nice, romantic room. Just be aware that it is a wooden chalet, so you hear every step. The bathroom was in a lower floor, so, a longer walk at night.
The kids stayed in a very big and modern 8-bed room and had a blast! We had a very nice dinner and breakfast at the hotel. We are already planning to make this a yearly get-together spot!!
Amazing setting on mountain top, views spectacular from the outdoor terrace, where you can have dinner and breakfast, both great. A memorable experience to be staying up high, if you want to try something different from a hotel in a town etc. It is easily reached by either of two cable cars, and once you are up there are great walks to explore Mt Rigi. Most of all, the hosts were really welcoming and helpful.
We were looking for a place to stay near Lake Lucerne. We found this hotel just outside the city. What can I say. It was an excellent hotel. The view from the room was the most beautiful I have seen. The mountains and lake made the stay worthwhile. The food was great, the room was great. You will not be disappointed. If you are in the area you must stay here.
Hotel is located in small town. All rooms are oriented on the beautiful lake, however in hot summer days and without air conditioner it became quite hot in the room. Only fan is available. Also there is a coffee machine, but no jettle.
Restaurant is available in hotel. Actually there are two restaurants, but at the moment of stay, the menu was the same.
Charming hotel in a charming village on the Vierwaldstättersee. Hosts were nice. Free reserved parking just below the hotel. Good and fairly priced restaurant. Just 2 minutes from the lake shore and a swim (walk 250 meters to the right to find the park, from where the whole village goes for a swim).
The Staff was exceptional. Very hospitable and catering. Felt like family. The room was spacious and clean. Larger showers then most hotels I've been to in the country. The view is mind blowing. Good food and beverages. A nice place to sit outside and relax after traveling to different nearby towns.
The view from the room is spectacular, the room is very clean, comfortable bed and the staff are exceptionally nice. The hotel location is excellent and easily access by car, bus, train or boat to Luzern old town. Hotel offers the breakfast which is fantastic with a view and friendly staff.
The view of this hotel is fantastic! Absolutely peaceful! The road to the hotel is way up on a little windy road. We stayed here for one night while traveling by car, passed the Gotthard tunnel to cross border to Northern Italy. This hotel has a parking space which is very convenient.

The host provided a safe place to store our bicycles overnight and made it possible to get the bikes out early before the hotel opened. Our bed was super comfortable.
Brilliant stay overall. Very friendly staff; lovely free breakfast; amazing views from the balcony and terrace; steps down to swim in the lake straight from the hotel. Very easy to get to Gersau and the nearby hiking trails.
Great conversation with staff. Was quiet and very Cozy. Loved the drive up the mountainside to the hotel. Food was excellent at the restaurant, and the free breakfast was great. Would surely recommend to others.

Manuela & Ruedi are so friendly and thoughtful. The flat is pretty comfortable with everything you need., and Gersau is a quiet little town nearby Mt. Rigi and Stoos. Highly recommended.
