Loved the pinocchio water fountain outside. Also the pool was good and clean and kids loved it. Lots of little details for kids around too, like the slide or the inner kugelbahn, and cool kids program such as walking with the lamas.

I love The Hide and go back whenever I can, it is a great hotel, well designed with a lovely bar, fantastic location by the ski lifts, always sweet kind and helpful staff. I usually take a double room with the Mountain View to enjoy the terrace :)

My grandfather's family is from Diesbach so I had a special interest in visiting the place. My reason for being there was to climb the Toedi and being based in Deisbach before and after the climb and having a place to leave our non-climbing gear was wonderful. Diesbach is a pretty, picturesque town and is on the bike and walking path that runs the length of the valley in Glarus. There are many hiking trails of all levels of difficulty nearby and also an area of via ferrata. I have only been there in the summer, there is probably skiing, ski touring and snowboarding in the winter.
