It was an amazing stay. The room, the facilities, the breakfast, the service, everything was great. But most importantly, the staff here have such a kind heart. My family and I were in a very difficult situation when we arrived at the hotel late night because of the disruptions in our travel. The two gentlemen at the front desk were very helpful and supportive and went extra mile to help us, even though they don’t have to. They saved my day, big credit to them. To those who are considering this place, rest assured you will be in good hands as the staff here are truly kind and want people to have the best time.

The village is peaceful with traditional buildings and the hotel stands in nice grounds up a steep hill with nice views. But without a car we found the hill leading to the hotel too much so had to get a taxi each time we came back. There is a regular bus service a short walk away that we used. The hotel room was very dated and in need of a make over but clean and comfortable. There was no tea or coffee provided in the room so we had to buy our own in town. Despite having a large well equipped dinning room the hotel does not provide evening meals.
Post Hardermannli is a typical chalet-style hotel, located a 5-minute walk from the centre of Interlaken and the West Train Station. It offers stunning views of the Jungfrau Massive.

Perfectly located for a stay in Interlaken. Very friendly and helpful staff. Parking directly outside the hotel. Excellent freshly cooked eggs available for breakfast. Unfortunately the bar is no longer available but there are plenty available nearby. Would recommend checking/requesting ground floor if mobility is an issue - lots of stairs!

A good place to base ourselves for a short stay. We walked along Wanderweg paths following the river into Interlaken. A very pleasant walk 👍

Stay facing the lake, Boningen is well connected to Interlaken and an ideal place to stay for the best views. It also allows elderly people to stay as they dont have to climb steep roads that you would see in Murren or Grindelwald or Wengen.

It was so clean and feels like home. We cooked dinner and breakfast with ease. Complete with coffee pods and basic condiments.
Recommended for you next travel. We really enjoyed our stay.
We went winter and bus run every hour. No problem for us as we only need to take that bus once. You can opt to wlk for 22 mins to interlaken ost. The bathroom has no lock again no problem for us as we are family. We just knock before entering. Maybe the only problem we had was throwing rubbish away. Quite confusing where to put it

I went trekking between Iseltwald and Giessbach.
I went trekking between Iseltwald and Giessbach. It was 1.5 hours long but can be completed within 1 hour. Good exercise. I had lunch at the bottom of the Giessbach waterfalls and it was great. It's not suitable for a picnic basket, but a small lunch and drink would be perfect. Do pick up your trash and take them with you when you leave. If you can't, please don't eat there.
It was good to take the bus, hike and then the ferry back to Bonigen. Do try multiple transportations.

Right on the lake for the views and a summertime dip after a long day. A bit of a trek into Interlaken but far enough away so as not to get too busy with tourists. Hotels usually offer a free bus though.
Has a campsite which looked a bit crammed/scruffy but also several nice hotels.

Boenigen is the quiet neighbour of Interlaken & all the better for it. Excellent centre for travelling the local area or just about anywhere in Switzerland. Had a day on the Glacier Express from Brig to Chur! A definite must on any holiday.
The property was beautifully situated with the lake a few steps in front. It was a brilliant base for anything and everything you wanted to do around the region. The free bus was just outside the hotel, which meant linking up with all transport easy. The rooms were so comfortable. The staff were amazing and nothing was too much trouble. They upgraded us as a surprise for our anniversary and left lovely chocolates in the room for us on arrival. The view from our balcony (room 206) will stay with us forever. We are DEFINITELY coming back!!
The location was optimal. The bus stop and ferry dock for Lake Brien is just 50m away from the hotel. The hotel also offers free parking for people driving in. Not only was the location great, the services by the staff was wonderful. A big shout out to Mr Steven who really goes the extra mile to help make our stay so much more comfortable!
The room that I stay had one of the most wonderful view for Sunrise from my balcony! In the noon/ evening, the lake view just takes your breath away.
It’s view of the lake and mountains is incredible. We enjoyed being away from downtown Interlaken. Downtown was fun for meals and shopping, but our hotel was very peaceful. Best of all, the staff went above and beyond with every interaction! The managers always gave detailed answers to our questions and the dining staff was just as kind. The breakfast was delicious. We loved everything about our stay. It’s the only place we’ll stay when we visit Interlaken again!
Chalet Mignon is located in a very beautiful neighborhood and quite spacious. the unit is very clean + well equipped with kitchen, dining, bed, and bathroom utensils. The host is very friendly, responsive, and attentive as well. What i really like is that the host shared a lot of tourism brochure and materials in the house. With such price and value provided i will always choose this place instead of hotel. Kudos to the host and thank you for hosting us.
It was a very good staying. The location is fantastic .it is not far from the train station and it is just infront of the lake. The fantastic view of lake was so great .the hotel is avarage with very classic beds and furniture but very accepted for the coast. Very delicious breakfast .the boat stop is 2 minutes from the hotel .they also gave us a free bus and train tickets with our reservation. I will go back again forsure in the future.
The location of the hotel is just perfect! I cannot describe how wonderful the lake view is. The staffs are super friendly, kind, and helpful. The breakfast is really nice with so many different options. They also give you a tourist card which can be used for free public transportation to the city center. There is a bus stop a few meters away from the hotel which makes it super easy to commute to wherever you want in the city.
loved the area. bonigen is a really nice small neighbourhood and very well connected by bus from interlaken. the bus drops u at the beautiful lake brienz from where the apartment is only a 2 minute walk. had e everything u would need in the kitchen. Christine was very helpful with all our queries. apartment is not very new but still very very comfortable. loved the shower. would surely recommend
Fantastic helpful service, even when one of our travellers needed gluten free food. The went above and beyond our expectations. Everything about the hotel is fab, the outdoor seating overlooking the lake, the pool table indoors and the fabulous breakfast. 👌

The property was perfectly and beautifully located right across from the shores of Lake Brienz with spectacular 360 views of mountains. It’s also close to any activity you want to do; whether in Bönigen, or just a 5 minute drive to downtown Interlaken. The staff was amazing and super friendly.
Visited from California in May 2023. Great location - 8 minute bus to Interlaken East, steps to boat ride (free with Swiss Travel Pass) across lake. Lovely view of the lake. Clean room, great breakfast. Staff was especially friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay here again.

Furnitures are old and bed is shrinking at the same time the pillows. Very uncomfortable to sleep and relax when you’re on vacation means to relax but this is not the place to stay.

Beautiful view from the property. Easy 10 minute commute by bus to the Interlaken OST station but need to plan as the bus frequency is every 30-60 minutes. Responsive management.
Hotel was a little tired but the room was fine. Staff were helpful and friendly. This was the only hotel we stayed in Switzerland so cannot compare prices to other locations.
