It has a nice location but I was expecting more from a 3 stars hotel. The room was small and the ceiling near the bad was low and we had to be careful. The staffs are amazing and the room was very clean and quiet.

I liked the old town, with cobblestone streets.
I liked the old town, with cobblestone streets. I visited a lot of the typical tourist places like the clock and Bern’s Bears. I’d recommended taking a walk along the river and travelling to any high points to look over the town. The transport system is amazing and the hostel I stayed in gave me a transport code so I could use it freely.
I woke up early so got to see a lot of the town before others but by about 11am it was rammed everywhere and some tourists could be quite rude.

We did a wonderful walking tour with an excellent guide which gave us a great overview of the city. We highly recommend taking a walking tour.
We loved everything about the Old Town. It was raining some of the time we were there and the beautiful arcades kept us dry.
We were lucky to be there when they had the light show on the Parliament Building which was magical. Hotel Akomo Bern was a very short walk to the Parliament Building.
We had dinner in two excellent restaurants - one Italian and one Swiss.

Bern is such a lovely city, especially the older part.
Bern is such a lovely city, especially the older part. The older streets with the arcades are amazing to wander about. Free public transport is such a good idea and allows you to explore further, such as Gurten, which is a really nice area to go for a walk. The walk along the Aare River is also lovely and can be done at any time of the year. There is a brilliant mix of city life and nature. Plus the Swiss chocolate is always good.

Chirstmas ambiance at Bern was really great.
Chirstmas ambiance at Bern was really great. Christmas market (chalet with Fondue) was nice too.
Also, in summer time, don't forget to swim in the Aare river (strong current can hold/push you). Go to Marzili Platz to enjoy it.
Really funny (requires some swim skills of course, not for babies/beginners).

This apartment hotel is very close to work and has the advantage of a fully equipped kitchen, spacious rooms, access to a great gym, plus laundry facilities and a nice garage. Staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating. It's only steps away from public transportation and a you receive a transportation pass (Bern Pass) for free during your stay. It's also easy to reach by car The self-check in and digital key are also a plus. The price can't be beat.
Everything was great, the kitchen was complete and had spices as well so that we didn't have to buy them. Especially in Switzerland this has saved us some money!
The place is perfectly located right in the centre and the evenings were always pretty quiet. Don't know if it's a feature of every B&B in Bern but we got a Bern Ticket for our entire stay that allowed us to move freely around the city using public transports :)
The location is in a quiet area. the hotel is very technology oriented and have remotes for most things.
The hotel has a free parking and local tourist authorities provide free public transportation tickets for the length of your stay.
The room/bed is very comfy and we slept wonderfully good.
We will return there on our next trip to Bern.
Hotel was amazing. Perfect location and convenient location. This location is a must stay for families with waterpark access. The hotel is next to the train stations making it very easy to access Bern Central train station. Bern is a perfect launching point to see Switzerland given its central location.
The location is perfect. Just steps away from the train station and also there is a public transport stop just outside the hotel. This was crucial for me choosing this hotel. It was wonderful since with my hotel confirmation number I enjoyed of free transportation during my entire stay in Bern!
A beautiful old-fashioned hotel in the heart of the Old Town. The reception staff was kind and professional and the room was just what I wanted, clean, quiet, spacious and comfortable.
It's Switzerland so the prices are always high, but in the context ....it was good.
The room was very modern and very spacious. We liked that. We had a small issue with the electricity, it didn't work at some point, but the staff came very fast and solved the problem. The hotel is close to the Bern attractions and it is very easy to reach them walking.
This hotel is conveniently located just across the street from the international train station. This was perfect for my needs as I was coming from Italy to enjoy a one night stay in Switzerland's capitol city before taking a direct train to Zürich airport.
Large buffet breakfast, easy access to the public transportation system. Staff was friendly. Parking was safe and reasonably priced. This hostel is a good choice if you really want to or have to visit Bern in Switzerland.

Love the hotel style. Uniqness frontage among the old town of Bern. Easy to do self check-in, lovely staircase that led to the rooftop where we managed to catch both sun rise and sun set.
Very clean, well equipped, spacious and fuss free check in. The supermarket below is very convenient. Accessible to trams and trains to city centre and other parts of Switzerland.
