We spent a night here when hiking on the Jura Crest Trail. The location was good, the staff were friendly, the room was comfortable and we had a fantastic dinner after a long hike. Thanks for the nice memories!

This is a place for those who like the slightly quirky rather than a standard chain hotel. Perfect for me!
Château de Denens is an ancient vineyard, still producing excellent wine. You stay in the old Château buildings which have slightly faded grandeur and a few quirks, but my guest room had been refurbished to a superb standard and was spotlessly clean and comfortable. There are beautiful views from the rooms across the vineyards towards Lake Geneva and the mountains beyond.
Breakfast is served in the family kitchen with the vigneron, it was fairly simple but tasty local fresh produce.
Denens is a small village, not far from the city of Morges. By public transport you can get there from Morges by bus or it's about 20 minutes walk through the vineyards from the nearest station on the MBC railway. Although the B&B doesn't serve evening meals, there is a superb Thai restaurant just across the road, and I enjoyed a bottle of the Château de Denens wine with my meal there.
