If you love mountains it’s the place. It is the place to walk ,hike and I saw people on bike-cycle.
Driving to Adelboden if I will compare the roads with Dubai is so narrow and some places you have to drive carefully specially with the turns on the mountain. Be cautious with the speed limit as some places will be 30km/hr!

The kitchen would seem from another century. No microwave in particular, a nescafe machine maybe, but only two capsules seems mean indeed for the price that I'm paying for staying here. It feels like you've just thrown in old furniture from somewhere else. Strange zebra skin seat, strange cubicle seats, and a CD player from a different generation that clutters the bedside.. I do not find it all functional or restful. It is basic at best. I'm not at all sure why you think that one pillow is enough for one person but perhaps that is your view of how things are. You asked for a removal of the shoes and I understand that, but the carpet itself seems cheap and worn.
In short, I did not feel that this property is as you represent is certainly not value for money. I say this from the advantage point of having been in Adelboden since Thursday last. . I stayed in an excellent hotel on arrival, the Chalet Hotel Beau Site, which I felt was excellent value for money and exceeded my expectations at every level, including having mountain views from a salubrious balcony.

Adelboden is a beautiful little mountain town where anything is possible with decent prices. The old chalets or cottages are worth a visit even if they are not as numerous as beforehand.
One of my favorite spots there was unten dem Birg.

Small but beautiful town. Everything is within few minutes walk.
The view is pabaromic from most of the hotels and resturants.
Ski piste is really at walking distance. Parking at the hotel can be a problem, needs to book in Advance.
When there is bad weather, can't do much so choose 4star and other Hotels where you have Sauna, wellness and FITNISS GYM

Brilliant just love the place!
Brilliant just love the place! The rain was set to stay so Adelboden was coated in cloud but the mountains were clear at over 3300m, Great walks for us and dog with a warm welcoming studio to return to. Thanks for tips and advice Sabina.
it’s elegant decor sets the mood the moment you arrive. and the view from the rooms , pool , restaurant is breathtaking.
spa is nice and well equipped.
Breakfast was perfect and the staff at the restaurant were the friendliest. Dinner taste was ok.
The bus station is right in front of the hotel so very convenient to get there
Overall this is a beautiful hotel for couples who want to enjoy a couple of romantic nights and enjoy the lovely hikes , scenery in the area.
The moment Frederick met me as I arrived, my stay was superb. All the staff were more than helpful. The hotel was spotless, the spa area was very inviting and the location…..perfect, especially for a traveler on foot. The hotel gave me a city pass enabling me to travel by bus free of charge and the restaurant was excellent. I was upgraded to a larger room without asking….I think because of low seasonal demand. Everything was very much appreciated. I’ll be back !
After reading lots of negative reviews about this hotel we were a bit concerned, but the hotel is just regular. Nothing spectacular, but nothing to complain about either. Clean, spacious room with a balcony, bathroom with soap and shower gel, kettle with cups, a couple of instant coffee sachets and tea bags, small fridge. Absolutely fine for an overnight and even a longer stay. We wouldn't mind coming back!
Amazing hotel! We were upgraded to a beautiful room with a view of the 2nd larges waterfall in Switzerland. The room was quiet, but a little bit small if you were staying during ski season. Great for hiking though. I laughed when I saw deer on the menu from across the other side of the world (NZ), it was delicious. The staff were friendly and the food (dinner and breakfast) was amazing. 10/10!
First and foremost that it was not a party hostel and that there were no issues with noise and sleeping at night
Place was sparkling clean (also as a result of the no shoes policy - bring slippers !!!)

Everything was perfect. The host was very kind, the location is beautiful, the apartament is comfortable , with everything you need for several days. It was spotless. When we come back to Switzerland we will check if the apartament is available before we search for other locations
The hosts are truly great people. We wished we could have stayed more than one night. It’s a beautiful property literally at the end of the Adelboden valley. Gorgeous views, super quiet area, cozy little studio—we had the ground floor to ourselves. Highly recommend!
Just a beautiful location. Even though it was just my wife and I, it was nice to see young kids with family enjoying themselves in this cool and relaxed hotel.

The high rating starts with the people on staff - they were excellent in every way. The rooms are very well appointed and appear to be recently updated or remodeled. I did not use the spa facilities so cannot speak to that. the breakfast was very good as well.
