We upgraded to the Whistler Suite which had a balcony overlooking the golf course and mountain view, suite also had an excellent large sunken bath. Pauline (owner) very welcoming and good breakfast.

New building of this motel was very clean and had a new and fresh interior. We were initially given a room on the far end of the building, which smelled mildew, so we asked to be moved. We were moved one room away and it was fine. The motel is right in the centre of Hope.
Free WiFi and free parking are offered. Hope city centre and Hope Mountain Trail are approximately 5 minutes' drive away. A cable TV is offered in all rooms at Skagit Motel.

We booked for two nights, however, we were told when we checked in that the power would be off the second day. It was cold and rainy out and needed heat and there would be none the second day.
Therefore, we tried to contact booking.com to ask for a refund for one night and could not find a way to communicate with you. I am contesting the charge for one night on my American Express as we were forced to move to another motel.
A credit of $150.00 would be greatly appreciated. I have a picture of the BC Hydro notice of power outage.
