I will say thay the young man at the front desk was very friendly but the room we had originally paid for, smelt really bad, Front desk gave us another room but not what we paid for as we booked a kingsize and were given 2 queens with a kitchenette, as that was the last one available. Room smelt like old cooked food.Carpets and chairs were stained and dirty. Mug for coffee was visibly dirty. Tub drain was caked with mould and scum. Bed sheets were clean. All in all ,probably one of the most unpleasant stays we have ever had.

Getting into the car and travelling a short distance for things to do. Enjoyed the Scandia mini golf.........a safe and fun way to enjoy the company of family. Also went up to Turtle Bay. Awesome lake with a relaxing beach. Being across the street from SaveOn made for quick and easy shopping to pick up quick dinners rather than do take out every night during this covid time.
Location is great. Just outside the Kelowna area so you were close to the surrounding areas like lakes, etc.
The Inn is older, but it is maintained which is important and shows that the owners care. Things like keeping up with painting the walls, trim, etc was noticed for sure. The grounds themselves were well maintained too.
The AC worked like a dream and kept it nice and icy cool during the heat wave. The unit had a large mini fridge and which is as nice. I would stay here again.
We only stayed from about 7:30 pm to 9:30 pm because our flight was changed to an earlier flight shortly after our checking in, so didn't get to appreciate the hotel. I do say the gal at the desk was very friendly and helpful due to our change of plans. We are hoping for a reduced rate because of the reduced time spent in the room. Thanks.
This appears to be a family run hotel. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. The room was very clean and freshly renovated. Also, quiet. Although there were quite a few other people staying there, we did not hear any noise at all. Great value for the money.
Was looking for a hotel that could store my MTB overnight; I was allowed to bring it into my room. Many hotels will not accommodate bicycles and today's quality bicycles are too insanely expensive to leave on the vehicle overnight.
Their hospitality was incredible! Everyone we came across that worked there were all such nice people! They went above and beyond to ensure we had a great stay. I'd definitely stay at the Lake Country Inn again. Highly recommend.
Great hotel. Friendly staff, very comfortable mattresses on the beds. Excellent soundproofing. The window of our room overlooked the highway, but there was no traffic noise at all. Very easy route from the Kelowna airport.
All my errands in Winfield were just outside the door. Being right on Hwy 97 it was easy and quick travel to Kelowna for the rest of my business and less than 10 minutes to the airport.
good clean property, staff helpful and friendly, good cold breakfast. easy access to parking, on main highway into Kelowna, close to other lakes in Lake country, good size fridge.
More flexibility if you need to check out a day early. I paid at the hotel and my tests were done early but they wouldn't let me change my reservation.
